“Too Noisy”

This hotel is adjacent to an active rail road track. The front desk offers free ear plugs! Do not stay here if you want to sleep.

“Beware of train horn!”

A commuter train passes this hotel (horn included) about every 30 minutes. They actually hand out ear plugs at the fron tdesk. But hotel was clean and service was good - just not sure I would stay here again listening to passing trains in the night...

“Worst hotel!”

They put us in a room literally arm's distance from train tracks. Never seen anything like it - didn't think something like that happened outside of movies. The whole room shook throughout the night and morning - didn't get any sleep.

“Full of History”

What a cool hotel! It is full of history. Our room was made from silos that were made in the 1940's! It was really cool! Very comfortable beds and the staff was very accomodating. i would defintely stay there again!

“La Quinta”

The carpet was all wet and we informed the service desk and nothing was done about it. They were aware it was aleak from the air conditioner. the Hotel room was situated right above railroad tracks.

“Hope you like trains!”

The hotel is a converted grain mill and very cute. They had a one-armed-bandit working the front desk by himself 11 p.m. at night so service was fairly slow. The jar of ear plugs on the front counter was a dead giveaway on what you can expect there though. The train tracks are within spitting distance of your window with freight and AmTrak trains flying by. And even though the building is built like Fort Knox, the noise is ridiculous and you can actually feel the trains go by. A slight oversight on their part with disclosures and failing to tell us this in advance.

“OK, but too close to railroad tracks”

The hotel was OK, but it lies too close to the railroad tracks with trains passing by at all hours.

Downtown. The downtown area has nicer hotels with better amenities, although they are a bit more expensive.

“History trip”

Great little pictures all over of the history of the surrounding area and the motel facility itself. Great for kids.

“Worst night ever!!!!”

Take it as a warning! This hotel is locaded by the Metrolink tracks that runs by every 30 minuts all night long. The structure of the hotel amplifies all sounds, incluiding the train, and hallway conversations. On a plus , breakfast was nice.

“Irvine La Quinta low quality but clean, cheap and convenient”

Room was pretty low end and not very inviting but it was clean and cheap. Acceptable for business travel if on a short stay.

All of Irvine is amazing, beautiful.
