Very affordable option, nice rooms

Posted Apr 16, 2014
Pros: Good location, helpful staff, very clean
Cons: Currently going through some renovations, so there are signs of some construction, but nothing to interfere with our stay. Parking a little limited.
Location: Plenty of grocery store or pharmacy options very close so anything you need is easily found. Some rooms have kitchen areas.
Last minute, needed a room in the area, this was a very affordable option. Room had been recently renovated, nicely done. Did lack hanging space/closet space but was told a wardrobe was going to be added to room. (This was only a minor inconvenience.) Parking a little limited at night.

Purposely picked this hotel for price, we reserved the King room with Jacuzzi. When we arrived to the room, there was no parking, the ceiling was peeling from water damage, the Jacuzzi didn't work, and the bed had dirty sheets and blankets with hair all over. We immediately canceled our reservation and left to go home. This is by far our worst hotel experience ever, and cannot believe this hotel is even listed on Expedia. I will never use Expedia again.

Although I liked the actual hotel, and the staff was nice and friendly, and very helpful, I felt the room was very dirty. The blankets had not been washed. My 7 year old discovered a spot on his blanket that had a different texture than the rest of the blanket due to some sort of fluid being on there. We just did not feel comfortable.

Lemon Tree Hotel is Excellent

Posted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: The price and the location
Cons: Then room could use and overhead light.
Location: Close to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Medieval Times, and Pirate adventure dinner (better than Medieval Times and I always go to Medieval Times)
This is the hotel for you if you like privacy and comfort. The staff is great. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable and Disney is 3 miles away. If you want high class go pay for high class. If you want a Hotel that suits your needs and doesn't break your bank and feels like home then you've found the right place. The pictures were legit.

Disappointed with the presentation of hotel.

Pros: There were grocery stores and eating establishments near by. The security guard was pleasant and tried to be helpful. The pool and hot tub were nice.
Cons: The cleanliness and the service. When we complained we were met with smiles, but nothing changed. The manager didn't even try to contact us.
Location: Disneyland is near. We also took in Universal Studios and drove down to Sea World. The beaches were the best! We went to Huntington Beach for a day.
We asked for a kitchen unit so we could cook. There were no utensils for cooking, no tea towels, dishcloths, or dish soap. When we asked, they just said they were not provided. There was one pot and a small frying pan. No bowls. When we entered the room for the first time the floors were not clean and electrical tape and wires had been left on the bed. When we folded down the fold out bed in the living room there was garbage and a dirty towel under the bed! And the bed was not made up! It had one dirty sheet on it! We did get bath towels everyday but only ever got one hand towel and one washcloth for four people. The pool deck was not kept swept up. The flower pots were not trimmed or kept up. They were falling over with mostly dead flowers in them and there were weeds growing up in the cracks along the side of the pool and next to the pool. The goldfish pool was also dirty with algae growing on the rocks. There was smoke damage under the eaves that you could see from the pool. It looked like there had been a fire there not so long ago and they were remodeling some of the rooms. Everything just looked to be in disrepair. We were told that new managers had recently taken over and they were trying to get things fixed up. But this we heard from another person staying there, not from anyone who worked there. The continental breakfast ran out of bread, peanut butter and jam frequently and some days there was only a couple of choices of cereals.

Just Ok

Pros: Nice garden/grounds
Cons: While I was there I had to ask for the bathtub to be washed and the sink to be unplugged.
I was concerned that a hotel that stated that they were a "Green" conscious hotel used all styrofoam plates cups and bowls for their continental breakfast.
