“Good value”

The room was clean and had a TV w/ HBO, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, WIFI etc. It was missing an iron and ironing board. Overall, a good value for business trips. Perhaps not the best for a famiy travelling into town to see the ocean - might be more appropriately named, "Slice of Oceanview Motel."

“Really comfortable bed in a really clean room w/ 100 channel tv and sandy beach across the road.”

I was greeted warmly and in my room in a minute. I was happy to see a refrigerator and microwave in the room and a big tv w/ all the channels from Food Network, History, Discovery to Golf Channel. The bed was a California King and it was so comfortable. The view is obstructed of the beach but you can catch a beautiful sunset and glimpses of the water or see the bay from the side, or you can walk about 5 minutes to the beach. There is a Farmers Market at Peters Landing every saturday that was interesting and had great cheap food. There are many very good and a few truly excellent restaurants within walking distance. Don the Beachcomber is a lot of fun w/ reggae Sunday and great food and quaff. Excellent sushi next door, and the awesome Harbor House Cafe, Taco Surf and Woody's Diner are a short walk. This place is no frills and such because it is what it is and the good stuff is all around. It is right where you want to be. Great stay.

“Great value”

Not a new property, but everything in the room worked. Location is great, just minutes from local attractions and shopping. The room had a refrigerator and microwave (with popcorn and candy) plus a coffee maker. Parking is not covered, so if it is foggy, you may have to wipe your rear window (or simply park facing out). The traffic noise from PCH was minimal. Oh, the hotel is actually in Sunset Beach (I think Huntington Beach is trying to annex the small community). They provide free wireless internet (ask for the info at the desk). Not bad for the price.

“Very good at a reasonable price”

Excellent hotel. stayed there for three nights. Fridge, microwave, coffemaker, free popcorn, clean room, safe neighborhood, walking distance to the beach. The hotel has an elevator which made it very easy for my disabled husbnad to get up the the room. Very handicapped friendly place. I felt very safe there. I would recommend this hotel to people who want a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay in the Huntington Beach area.

“Very impressed! Will definitely go back!”

We were really impressed with this Motel and can't understand why some of the reviews we read were so bad. Everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable,having a refridgerator and microwave in the room was very nice (also free wi-fi), and the management was very friendly and helpful. It is an older motel but still in great shape. Will definitely go back

“NEVER AGAIN”

First thing they said to me when arriving at office, Name? Did you give me money yet? This place is a dive, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. The rooms are dirty, there were flies in the room when I arrived, the whole place was a mess. I paid for three nights but after the first night I never returned, couldn't stay there again!!!!

“It was "ok"”

If you need a place to just sleep and bathe, it's fine.No ammenities but fine to sleep in.

“Quick Overnight stay”

We wanted to visit the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. This place was extremely convenient to the Reserve. It was clean and quiet. We even got a peek view of the ocean from the third floor! For the money spent, we felt it was a very good value.

“Horrible Owners”

The man who owns this hotel is an jerk. Their customer service is terrible and I wouldn't recommend staying here. Huntington Beach is awesome but find a different hotel.
