Had fun, staff were great, hotel was fun, shuttle service was not as convenient as we would have liked, pool towels weren't always available, had to track down staff to get a towel. Room was great, had a view of the firework show! I would stay again!

Disneyland family vacation

Posted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: Kitchen, bigger space than most hotels, nice amenities, friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: having the room available that we had reserved, daily room cleaning
Location: Disneyland!!! Could walk, but would be a long walk--better to drive or take the shuttle
Nice hotel, loved the convenience of having a suite with a kitchen. Nice rooms, well furnished and convenient with a friendly staff. Pretty close to the parks, but would be a long walk--we just drove our rental car every day. Didn't love the required valet parking with daily fee, although the valets themselves were great. The pool facility is OK, average for the area--rather small and the pool was really cold, but with all the time we spent at the Disney parks we only went swimming once anyway, and the kiddo loved the sprinkler thing they have. Be aware that they only clean the rooms every three days which was OK for us, but I would have preferred a more standard daily room cleaning. The main downside for us was that they gave away the king-bed suite we had reserved so we had to have 2 full size beds. This isn't that big of a deal, but was inconvenient since it meant that my husband and I really didn't sleep in the same bed the whole trip (we had planned for the kid to sleep in the pull out couch, but since we had 2 beds he wasn't having any of that). We had been told that we could switch rooms the next day, but ended up being at Disney until midnight, so that didn't happen--then the king room was gone again by the following day. Oh well. Overall the hotel was really nice, especially for the price--we got a great deal and it was quite a bit cheaper than other hotels in the area that didn't have refrigerators or kitchenettes or anything.

Comfort and space

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Very comfortable suites and beds. Bedrooms have doors to separate from living room. Kitchen is small though. For this business trip, I did not try the pool but it looked nice and kids there sure were having fun. The hotel is not far from the Gardens Walk and the nicest restaurants on this part of Katella Drive, yet it is far enough from all the excitment to allow for a calm stay. Ladies at the counter were very helpful and despite the hotel not having a restaurant with breakfast, they give rebates for nearby restaurants. Will definitely come back.

Mediocre property. No frills at all.

Posted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: There was really nothing special compared to other properties in the area.
Cons: Breakfast and maid service.
Location: Near the freeway. The best thing about the location is that it's near The Cheese Cake Factory.
No breakfast. No daily maid service. The moment we arrived we were jumped by an over-zealous sales person who wanted us to buy in to a time share on the property. We spoke to a couple on the bus who had done that a year or two earlier and said it was the biggest regret of their life.

nice hotel was close to Disney

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: That it was within walking distance to disney
Cons: the valet service should be an option, a full functioning kitchen or at least a sink in the so called kitchen area, the pool with a shallow end
Location: Disney, too close to the traffic very noisy
We knew what to expect going there so we didn't have any high expectations. The staff was awesome everyone super nice.Liked that it was within walking distance to Disney...Forced to pay for valet service was a bit much & if its trying to be a time share it needs a full functioning kitchen.
