Business hotel close to airport

Pros: Bright and airy hotel
Cons: Room a bit cramped
Location: Shopping, visit beaches, Disneyworld
A car is needed. Hotel used by several airlines for their flight staff. Laundry facilities very useful.

Front desk staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The gentleman running food for room service was also great.

Nice hotel with a beautiful pool

Posted Jul 2, 2015
We chose this hotel because of it's location and pool. We have young children and the pool is kid friendly. One area of the pool was about 3ft which was perfect for our kids to enjoy. :)

Our 1 night stay at this hotel met our expectations: clean, roomy, quiet, close to Santa Ana/John Wayne airport, and friendly staff.

Cons: Having the option to order dinner for room service would be great (the hotel provides the option for breakfast).
It was good. I had traveled from the east coast and it was convenient to the John Wayne Airport.

Enjoyable experience

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff. Only flaw for me was how small their bathrooms are in the standard rooms, other then that it was a nice stay.

Not close to beach as advertised

Posted Jun 19, 2015
The advertisement showed this hotel right on the beach, it was 7 miles away. Room was overpriced for what we got. No breakfast, balcony door didn't work, no microwave, faucet in tub dripped all the time, airport right across the street, temperpedic mattress but the controls didn't work.

Bright and cheery

Posted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: Most of the staff, the bright and airy atrium and facilities, the sunset from my balcony.
Cons: One staff member that could use some retraining.
Location: Go to the airport, Fashion Island, UCI, and the beach.
I had the VIP hotel experience. The staff were so helpful, and the room was beautiful. I watched the sunset from my balcony. Everyone on staff were very eager to ensure I was comfortable. I was even looking for a local ice cream shop and the front desk gave me a few ideas, and didn't push room service! The downfall is that with the VIP reservation, I was given the free breakfast buffet. Super, right!?! When I went to use the coupon the first day for breakfast, the waiter was excellent, and made sure my coffee was full and I have everything I needed. The second day, I had another waiter that asked if I had a coupon for the breakfast. My husband said we did, and all of the sudden the waiter played the disappearing act! We didn't get our coffee for a long time, and I had to ask another server for it and cream. He wasn't even around for a refill. I suppose that he thought he wouldn't get a tip because we didn't pay for the breakfast. When he gave us the receipt and indicated to put our room number down, he was very clear on where we would put how much we wanted to tip him. For a waiter that didn't help at all, he was undeserving of a tip, however my husband did insist on leaving him a couple of bucks. I'd come back and stay again, as I am frequently in the area, but I will not be eating there.
