Horrible musty smell in the room. No security. The motel was very run down and undesirable. Lights and alarm clock didn't work.

Pros: The pool.
Cons: Room cleanliness.
Location: We didn't do anything nearby, we were on the trip for family (local) celebration.
Our room wasn't ready until 6 pm and then wasn't really clean. Negligee and panties left in the bathroom, surfaces in all parts of the room, not really clean. The restaurant next door does not give a discount for motel patrons as advertised on the web site ( and haven't for quite a while). The staff were very nice, pleasant and courteous. It is an old motel, but is in pretty good shape overall. The pool was very nice. If we hadn't had such a great time on our trip overall I would have rated the motel lower.

Room was nice (recently remodeled), but the hallways were filthy, the grounds could have been cleaner, and the clientele was questionable. Just to hang your hat for a night, fine. A few days or with kids.... keep looking.

We needed a hotel for a few nights within close proximity to everything you could need on a quick vacation. This location was 20min from the Long Beach Airport and close to all the stores and restaurants you need. I will def. stay here again.
