Nice hotel close to a strip of bars... :)Posted May 29, 2014
It was nice for an older hotel. Only bad thing was they were a bit rude about leaving right at check out time. Limited and small parking, other than that it was pretty good.

Not what we expectedPosted May 26, 2014
Pros: Easy check out.....key drop window.
Location: Was within one mile of beach but no parking within a half mile of beach. Shopping was within a half mile. Close to I-5, to get out of dodge.
The positive was free underground parking. Room was a small step above motel 6. Room included a coffee maker, but no coffee or cups. Only bath towels. Breakfast was to be served in 5 ft square office entrance, but didn't start until 8:30. We're sure it would only include donuts and orange juice, so had breakfast a local restaurant.

Cheap hotel not so near to the beach.Posted May 7, 2014
It's fine for what you pay, but it really isn't by the beach.

Filthy floors. Road noise.Posted Apr 17, 2014
The road noise is considerable; don't be fooled. The breakfast is sub-par. There wasn't enough parking on the property so I had to park on the road down the street. The floors appeared clean but our socks quickly turned black from walking around the room. I definitely could not recommend this hotel.

Quaint hotel near the freewayPosted Apr 8, 2014
My one night stay was comfortable and suited my needs. The office staff was friendly and nice. The location was terrific as it was close to the freeway. My room was clean and they had a basket of goodies that you could purchase items to satisfy your midnight munches. I didn't eat the breakfast, but the area was super small so I would assume a more continental style selection. Over all, I would definitely stay there again.

lovely motelPosted Feb 23, 2014
The staff/owner was very nice and helpful to direct us to dining and shopping. Also other sights around the area. Very clean rooms and a decent breakfast with good coffee.

Nice hotelPosted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The rooms could use an update.
Location: I enjoyed a nice chinese massage spa close by, El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant next door had great double shot margaritas and fish tacos.
Enjoyed our overnight stay. Had lots to do close by, plus it was very close to Camp Pendleton Marine Corp Base. The staff were friendly and helpful.
