“Hidden cost”

$24 a day for the mandatory valet parking adds an additional $200 to your stay. Another hidden cost, $ 70+ for internet usage in your room. Additional cost to use the business center!!! I never thought a Hilton would be so cheap as to charge to print a reservation....My brother stayed at a Court Yard up the road at 1/5 the cost and had free internet and business center, And a larger room. Yes, the Hilton is nice, but not for the money!

“Loved it cant wait to go back !!”

Loved our hotel, we will stay there again for sure ! But we were not told ahead of time that we were staying in a Pet Friendly room. I'm All for dogs going on vacation with people!!! But my daughter is SO allergic to Dogs & Cats its not even funny !! There should have been a warning sign on door or told at check in about this ? Its a serious health issue that could have been a serious problem , we were never told until we asked front desk because my daughters allergies were bad when normally when we visit California she does better than home(Las Vegas)

“Hilton Huntington Beach is lacking!!!”

Service in hotel restaurant was horrible. We thought it was just a fluke, but was horrible everytime...... The desk staff was always understaffed. Not their fault, the hotels fault. The concierge didn't even know if they had a scanner in the business office. They don't?? The valet guys were great. Hope so, since it's $25 a day to park! They made the pool fun. Great for kids and even a dog. Huntington Beach is also a dog friendly beach.

DON'T FORGET sweaters! Cold every night!!

Dining

Huntington Beach is better than staying in Newport Beach, Balboa Peninsula is so crowded and you can't find parking. Be sure to visit Laguna Beach. Best Restaurants are Rusty Pelican in Newport and for breakfast or vegetarians go to Zinc in Corona Del Mar. DO NOT eat at Greeters Corner in Laguna Beach. Javiers in Corona is wonderful! You can bring your dog to The Cliffs restaurant in Laguna. Good food too and sometimes live music outside by a fire!! Ruby's at the end of the HB Pier is fun for the kids.

“POOL IS A MUST”

While the hotel would need some remodeling and more recent furniture, service, location and kids-friendly welcome are great assets compensating the rest. The pool is totally a great plus as well considering the windy situation and how cold is the Pacific.
