Adequate for over nite stay

Our stop on our way to Florida. Reasonably priced. Restaurants within walking distance. Definitely not a fancy hotel. But clean. No shampoo

Nice hotel, old but very clean, excellent staff

Pros: microwave, refrigerator, cleanliness and the staff
Cons: update the AC
Location: It is near all the fast food, and dine in restaurants. It is also near the gas stations, grocery store, CVS pharmacy, and corner store.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly, courteous and accommodating. We would truly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for good place to lay their head when in the area.

Older facility, but clean rooms and friendly staff

Perfect for a low cost room for a road trip. Easy access to food and shopping. Close to interstate. Breakfast was modest but adequate.

It was the worst hotel that I have stayed at. I stayed two nights and the room wasn't cleaned, no towels. The morning breakfast was the worst I have seen. Cold coffee, one kind of cereal and they left the milk out on the counter to use, so it wasn't even cold.

Sleepless in Santee, (SC)

Pros: Price and geographic location.
Cons: Update plumbing and furniture.
Location: Lake Marion Golf Course is nearly across the street and a little over a mile west is the Lonestar Bar-B-Que... Come hungry!
Upon arival at the Econo-lodge hotel I checked in with a very nice receptionist. Check in was quick and efficient. I was also told that there would be a hot breakfast in the morning. After entering the room I looked around to find spartan surrounding but they were clean. The bathroom was a little outdated with a plastic tub, the in room refrigerator was very old and the furnishings quite warn. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioner tuned completely off when it had reached the desired temperature... (A huge plus for sleeping) The only real drawback of this hotel was the location (I stayed on the west side) facing the Pizza Hut and IGA store. Overall, for the money, it is a good deal, but not someplace I would admit to staying at with the folks back home.

close to I 95

I made a reservation through hotels@com and received a confirmation for 2 rooms on 9/31/14. When got to the motel, they had only one room confirmed in my name. Hotels@com had only reserved one room for me. Fortunately, the hotel was not full and I was able to get a second room. But was dissatisfied with the reservation procedure. The desk clerk was helpful in getting me the second room, but this shows confusion in the reservation system.

10 hour layover

Perfect for what we needed... A place to sleep, shower and eat after a long days drive with two boys. We were there less than 10 hours and then back on the road again. Hot shower and air conditioned rooms! If you are looking for more than that you may be disappointed.
