Great staff and ownersPosted Sep 19, 2013
Pros: Pets allowed
Cons: Technology ease of access and free breakfast
Very nice owners and evening staff, helpful and friendly. Could not get TV service, though, which was really frustrating, and the WIFI service was inconsistent. Free breakfast would have been appreciated, and so would have sidewalk-to-parking lot rollcart access. The most important positive feature of this hotel was its acceptance of pets, a rare find.

I had a great stay. This hotel is by far the greatest one in the area. This was my first visit to Santee and I was pleased. I came for a family event and my relatives stayed at another facility. Their motel was at best substandard.

overprice for the areaPosted Jul 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
Driving down 95 to the hotel we saw many billboards for other hotels at the same area the were half the price we were paying. The hotel was clean but we were one of about four cars in the lot that night. The receptionist was courteous but clueless. We are seniors and my wife had her foot in a cast and she put us in a room on the 2nd floor at the far end of the hall, as far from the elevator that you can get. In the room next to us their was a family of five with young active children, two were crying. The hotel had many vacant rooms. I went back to the desk and asked for another room. We were giving a nice room on the other end of the hall. In the morning we found that there was no included light breakfast.

The breakfast that wouldn't bePosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Paid extra for a morning breakfast. Next morning went to get it and I was denied because the "code" from hotels.com didn't transfer over. Showed the lady my electronic receipt that has breakfast included on it but the supervisor still wouldn't authorize it. Beds were horrible, slanted to the middle

Stop overPosted Jun 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was perfect for a stop over. We were driving from Florida to Virginia & this was conveniently located. A bit pricy, but we weren't picky when we were looking for a place to stay. Breakfast in the morning was a bit of a let down, but my son was free & we did have a $20 voucher, so it wasn't all bad.
