“Melissa R”

the room smelled like mold, the room was dirty and check in was extremely slow. I will never return again. Do not go to this hotel!

“what no pool??!!!?!”

I say no because the inspector shut the pool down ( pool is across the street) I could live with this but the guy at the front desk told my 8 year old and wife that the pool was open. thanks to that I had to deal with a crying kid when we got dressed for swimming that he couldn't swim the free wifi would not work at first I informed the format and they did get a repair man out to fix all in all if you are looking for a nice place and great price then this is it

“Definitely would stay again”

Would definitely stay again.

Area recommendations
Convenient location to Clark's Restaurant, which was very good, and to Cracker Barrel Restaurant. This was an overnight stay en route to FL.

“HOJO's is a great place to stop on the way to Florida from Philadelphia.”

We have been staying at Howard Johnson's in Santee, SC since 1999. We always get great deals and a nice breakfast. Also, Santee is exactly a12 hour drive from Philadelphia and they have good restaurants along the strip there. The rooms are always clean, but the bedding needs replacing. The mattresses are fine. The staff is very accommadating.

Area recommendations
There are a lot of restaurants, fast food places, gas stations, hotels, motels, a small outlet shopping area, and a Piggly Wiggly within about 5 min or less. Most of the motels are one story, which is great for handicapped and seniors. There is also a nice public golf course about 1/4 mile down the street. Santee is a big golf and fresh water fishing town.

“HoJo Santee”

Nice quiet stop over area. Clean and friendly.

Traveler's tip
Make sure you eat at The Lonestar BBQ and Mercantile right down the road. Great Southern food at great prices.
