avoid

We were headed down for a quick visit to the university my niece will be attending. the location is convenient to the school. We arrived and the first downfall was that Nevin Patel (manager) was so slow with checking me in. Myself and the other lady in line had to wait so long. Mind you it was nearly (or a bit past) 11pm at this point. We get to our room to find it was filthy. Spider webs, dust webs on the ceiling and lights. The couch smelled like urine and there were spots on the wall (I didn't want to guess what they were). I called Patel and asked for a different room. He obliged. We get to the next room and although it seems cleaner, the bed was smaller and we soon found out the toilet did not work. At this point it's nearly 1am. I called Patel to tell him we were extremely disappointed, and would not be staying another night. We went to the comfort inn closer to Columbia Airport the next day and had a much better experience.

Never again

Do not go to this Quality Inn looking for quality; there were dead bugs (large bugs) in both rooms and the rooms smelled of mildew. I found coins in my bed when I pulled the covers back to go to sleep, and large cigarette burns in my comforter. My associate and I purchased our own cleaning supplies to sanitize our rooms. This appeared to be business as usual due to the hotel employees not being suprised or concerned about the conditions. I also had to go get my own towels from the front desk on my last night there, because apparently house keeping was gone for the evening; however, they did allow me to switch rooms which did not improve the outcome.
