A hotel for business trips. We were visiting relations. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill. If you are without transport you cannot avoid having a long climb, from whichever direction you approach, to get back to the hotel unless you rely on the one bus which serves it (79) or taxis. We did not have breakfast (at 17 euro pp) it was too expensive. On the plus side, very much so, was the gratis safety deposit box and complimentary morning coffee and refreshing gratis infused water drink and free apples, all at reception. The small refrigerator which was once installed had been removed and it’s cupboard sealed, hence no cool box. Comfortable beds.

The location is alright with parks around hotel perfect if u want to bring your furry friend, hotel allows 2 digs per room and charges one time cleaning fee 20 euro per dog, but the Cleaniness not the best, pillows are to flat, breakfast overcharged with 16 euros per Person for available selection.

Fantastic hotel and services
Very good, comfortable. Value for money. Well organised. It's had some bad reviews but definitely do not listen to them. The food was great. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

The sad thing is you have to pay for parking or else park the car on the street, which would be free, and if its busy the Room Service want work either, but else the Staff is friendly and helpful, Rooms are clean, Location is very quiet being close to the Parks including a Lake, and Restaurants are close by, as the Hotel Menu does not offer Regional Kitchen......

The suite we had was quite simply superb - probably one of the best I have ever stayed in, and excellent value. On the downside, the wifi signal was appallingly weak, and the breakfast cost an extortionate €17. If my wife and I had been stupid enough to have the hotel breakfast every morning of our 3 day stay, we would have spent over €100, or £80.

Great location, 5-story elegance
A very nice hotel. It felt elegant. The front desk people were helpful. We did not have time to use the pool. I wish it was open a little longer in the AM and PM but, I had a massage twice in the Spa and that was wonderful !! The breakfast was very good, though a bit pricey. The Schloss/Kirche was a short walk from the hotel and had a great restaurant with outside tables. Tip: we parked on the street in front of the hotel.

A pity it was only for one night.
I needed a good hotel that is near enough to Colditz to enable me to visit the former PoW camp in the Castle. I only had the website and reviews to go on but my selection was very good. Had I been working to a more flexible timetable, I might well have extended my stay. The check-in was efficient and speedy, the room was quiet and well appointed and the general feel of the hotel was one of being well looked after. The staff all seemed to be friendly, if a little less so at breakfast. I didn't eat dinner there, having eaten before arrival but breakfast next day was a very extensive affair. You'd be difficult to please if there were nothing that you like. Would I book there again? Certainly. Would I recommend it to others. Definitely.

Never judge a book by it's cover is how I would describe this hotel. Was more than impressed by the inside. Staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Parking in the under ground garage was a plus for me also along with the swimming pool and sauna Loved the German buffet breakfast which was awesome and something you don't find in North American hotels unless you pay a good price for it. I would give this hotel 5 stars and would most definitely stay here again.

Surprisingly wonderful
The people, the food, the accommodation were much better then expected. I stayed there twice now and ahve had consistancy both times. That will be my preferred hotel in Chemnitz from now on.

Treat yourself to a suite it's worth it
We chose this hotel as it was close to the Sachsenring. We booked a suite for four nights. This was worth every penny of the extra money as our room was very spacious with a downstairs living area bedroom upstairs and access to a balcony giving us lovely views of the city. The room was very clean and comfortable and well equipped with all mod cons. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.The only downside was that the hotel is located twenty minutes walking distance from the town centre though there is a bus service during the day and plenty of free parking near by. We were very impressed with this hotel and would wholeheartedly recommend it

Udmærket overnatning med ok morgenmad. Hotellet har fået en modernisering nogle steder, men ikke alle værelser har fået dette og de bæger præg af at være lidt slidte, selv om der var rent og pæn
