Standard Scandic. No AC so stay away during summer, room was 35 degrees Celsius and impossible to sleep.

Overall a nice experience
Nice hotel for a sleep over. The pool experience was nice. Love the breakfast. Would have liked some pancakes though.

Our stay was only for a stop along the road. The hotel more than met our needs. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was quite good. Due to our late arrival, we chose to have dinner in the restaurant and we were impressed with the choices and quality of the food. This was a nice surprise for a hotel along a highway!

Nice roadtrip stop but need a car!
Very convenient car parking. We stayed here as a sleeping stop during a road trip around Sweden and this hotel suited this purpose. However, you will need to travel by car to get to the centre of orebro and all of its attractions conveniently. The hotel is within the same complex as a petrol station and is in between two highways, which you can hear from the rooms.

OLD LINENS AND POOR AMENITIES
The sheets and comforter were very old and not clean. My girlfriend and her daughter got a light rash after sleeping in them for just one night. We pulled the duvet cover off and noticed one of the comforters was VERY old and stained deeply (vomit or some other dark stain). It was literally trash and yet they kept using it. The towels are the same. Very old and way way past the end of their life. We asked for new linens and they were nice enough to provide them right away. The basic room we had was clean and in good shape, but what room these days does not have a coffee maker at about ~$150 USD per night? I asked about it and they said coffee makers come with a "better room." Same for the lack of a refrigerator. What? Really? In addition, twin bed rooms cannot be joined together by housekeeping (common request that is accommodated in other hotels throughout Europe). So we used 2 strong zip ties to solve the problem on our own. Staff didn't answer the phone about half the time I called. I wouldn't stay here again.

Nice hotel, convenient location
The hotel was clean, staff was polite, breakfast is the usual full nice breakfast bar standard for European hotels. No complaints at all. There is a park behind the hotel, which we used for jogging. There is also a grocery store in a few hundred meters.S
