Good hotel for work travel. I imagine it would work well for family vacations as well.

Nice hotel. Close to many attractions.Posted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Location and reasonable rates.
Cons: Tried to order from the restaurant, had to wait for the Chef to call me back which took a while. then was told what I wanted wasn't available.
Location: So many restaurants nearby. Close to Ripley's, Wonderworks, City Walk and Universal Studios.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The rates were reasonable. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The Bathrooms were very large, not cramped like some hotels. Housekeeping did a very nice job making up the rooms. The only 2 things I can say against the Hotel was that it was hard to find due to the fact that the sign was covered. I am guessing it was because they recently changed names? Also on the second and third day I was there the towels were dingy and did not smell clean.

Excellent valuePosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: sleep number bed, lobby, housekeeping
The staff was very helpful and attentive. They even walked me through getting my laptop computer on the network when the normal proceedures didn't work. The room was spacious and the Sleep Number bed was a nice touch. Bathrooms were well appointed and clean. Housekeepping was excellent overall with lots of attention to particulars. I think this hotel is much nicer than some charging significantly more. This hotel is an excellent value and I will definitely stay here again

Nice hotel close enough to everywhere we wanted toPosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: lobby, lounge, outdoor patio with tv
Cons: update air conditioning systems, dvd options
Location: eateries galore, shops
The check in was easy. We checked in at 730pm. The room was nice. The fancy mattress was the best part it was a sleep comfort we slept like babies. we didn't see any bugs but we spray our rooms with Lysol automatically. we couldn't get the room temp to go pass 71 degrees which is kind of cold for our blood but we just snuggled anyway. I would recommend a movie option for early romantic nights in.

Allure is good choice on International DrivePosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: In particular, my wife & I liked the location, adjustable beds (good for my back problems), cleanliness, & Mr. Nabi's personal attention to our needs.
Had a minor problem and the hotel manager himself, Mr. Nabi, rectified it quickly once we communicated and thereafter took personal interest in our stay. My wife and I enjoyed the personable staff, amenities, and location. We stayed 3 nights recently and will return next month for another visit.

Moldy & disgusting!Posted Mar 5, 2014
The was the nastiest place I have ever stayed at! It was moldy & gross. The beds were the most uncomfortable things I had ever been on. We were sooooo tired that we stayed anyway, but I knew as soon as we opened the door that this was an "experience" that I will avoid at all costs in the future.

Allure is conveniently located and a good value.Posted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: The location, the location, and the location.
Cons: Older hotel that could use some remodeling. Ice machine on my floor didn't work during entire 7-day stay.
Location: Miniature golf, Ripley's Believe it or Not, many restaurants, Wonder Works, Orange County Convention Center.
I stayed at Allure for the HIMSS14 conference at the Orange County Convention Center and for a few additional days for pleasure. It is a great location with plenty to do within walking distance, and it was much more affordable than many of the other more recognizable hotels in the same vicinity. Much more affordable. The hotel is older and could definitely use some updates, but it was clean and comfortable. I had trouble getting hand towels for some reason. They did not leave them when they cleaned the room, and I always had to call the front desk to get them. Sometimes they brought them, sometimes they didn't. The ice maker on the 6th floor did not work when we arrived. I reported it, but it was not fixed during our 7-day stay. The soda vending machines on the 6th floor, 5th floor, and 4th floor did not work, so I gave up trying. I went to the hotel convenience store instead to buy a soda The indoor pool is located next to Allure in the YMCA building. The two times I tried to go there, swim meets were being held, so I couldn't use the indoor pool. The outdoor pool was crowded, and it didn't seem clean.

Hotel reception staff needs to be replaced.Posted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Room size was good.
Cons: See above comments.
Reception staff tried to make, and insisted, that their problem was mine to resolve, The maintenance staff tried to laugh off that fact that the HVAC system does not function properly.
