Good location but that's about it!

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Greeted by a gentleman at the front desk that looked like he had no desire to be there. So serious and showed no emotion at all. Room looked ok but the walls were so thin we heard the mobile music from our neighbors baby and the parent's entirevonversation. Breakfast wasn't included either....not a big deal but it would've been nice. Had sleep number beds but neither of them worked. Housekeeping knocked on our door before 9:00 am asking us if we were checking out yet??????? Really? Price was ok but next time we'd rather pay a little more for better service!

Great location. Clean rooms.

Posted Jan 26, 2015
I stayed just for a night after coming in a day early with Reservations for a different hotel. The place was clean, and beds were comfortable. There wasn't any noise from other guests or traffic. Staff was friendly. I didn't give them a 5 because they were booking someone else and didn't say hello or show any other sign of acknowledgment other then looking at me. The parking area wasn't the best but overall a good place. An excellent place for the price. Location is great for someone looking to do stuff other then theme parks. Not far from those either

FETC Conference

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: not much
Cons: see the above
Location: Disney
Would not let anyone check in until 4:00 even though the rooms where ready. Room smelled so bad the it had to deodorized and it still was so bad i had to force them to change my room! There was no restaurant even though it was advertised on their web site. there appears they are in the process of fixing the place up but some of the room should not be rented at this time. Simple things like the ice maker not working on the 6th floor. the arrow on the third floor always pointing up even when you push the down button. Not getting into my room until four hours after i checked in is serious to me and it shows the the admin at the hotel is not getting feedback from house keeping about the condition of the rooms

Poor customer service

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Customer Service !!!! Matresses
Location: Convention center
This was one to the worse hotel experiences ever. Long story short they cancelled a room we needed, because they did not receive a phone call stating that one room would be vacant one night, even thought I verbally confirmed all the needed rooms both that day and the day prior in person at the front desk. When I called to get the room back, they said they could not help because they were full. Called back to discuss with the manager who gave the same response, then hung up on me. The beds left a valley in the middle. While the garbage was collected and bagged, the bag was left in the room. Having worked in a hotel before, I was amazed at the poor quality of service and the poor customer service offered by this Hotel. The front desk was not welcoming at all and the person at the customer relations desk made me feel like I was interrupting her phone call and did not to help.

International Drive, Orlando, Florida

Posted Jan 23, 2015
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Everything
Location: There are a million things to do nearby, fortunately.
TV was a joke. The bed had a bar running down the center. The pool was closed as was the restaurant. It really sucked.

Decent place to stay

The registration was fast. We had two rooms, both clean, nice and comfortable. Great location, close to everything you need and to theme parks.

Ok for the price

Not too bad. Clean. Older hotel. Did have sleep number beds. YMCA indoor pool but is closed on Sunday's so kids " swam" in the hottub which was just warm not hot at all. But for a cheap place with 2 queen beds, was not too bad.

It was ok! Not sure I would go back. The staff at the front desk were rude and not very helpful. They advertise they have sleep number beds but the remotes don't work.

Unprofessional and uncomfortable, but clean

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was a Sleep Number bed, but the controller for the bed did not function. The bed also squeaked terribly.
Location: The location on I Drive in Orlando is close to a lot of activity.
The staff was very unprofessional when I tried to check in. I walked in and the man at the front desk was wearing a hoodie. The process to check in took about 20 minutes of my time.

Nice room for price.

Posted Jan 18, 2015
I enjoyed the room here. The sleep number beds were old and had to push the button pretty hard to get it to work but once we figured it out were able to get comfortable. The sheets and comforter needed to be wider. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. There was some mold in grout cracks in shower that need some attention but all in all it was clean. Checkin was ok but FD staff weren't very friendly. I asked about buying tickets to dinner show and he pointed me to guest services. They wanted me to watch some 90 minute thing that I didn't have time to do and the discount they offered for tickets wasn't much. I asked if there were computers for guest use. They pointed me to the computers in the lobby. First computer wouldn't turn on. Second computer didn't have internet. Third computer was able to connect but outdated and slow. I found great discount through my work and went to print tickets but printer wouldn't work. I went to guest services to tell them and she rudely pointed to her name tag and said she was with another hotel. Like I was supposed to notice that considering she was behind guest services counter. I went to front desk and the girl there was somewhat rude but said I could email what I needed printed to the front desk and she would print it. I felt like I was disrupting her but she did print it. All in all I would go here again for the price. But I do recommend that they teach their FD staff to be more welcoming.
