Hotel is beautiful and updated

Posted Dec 16, 2014
This hotel is beautiful, updated and great, the room was a little warm but I should have called the front desk that's my fault. The bathroom was like a Spa itself! They have a snack tray that you can purchase snacks in the room or they have a nice little shop you can visit. The Anerican Q has a very limited lunch and Dinner menu so we didn't try it but the BBQ smelled good. Just wish there were more options. Same with late room service so limited. The Spa was a different story, not enough employees and they really messed up my daughters hair badly. This is not the Hotels fault but think twice about letting them color your hair a specialty color, they did a terrible job. Ombré should not be a problem for a specialty spa and salon like Aveeda, but they really messed it up. I would definately return to The B Resort and Hotel, as the Hotel itself is wonderful.

Fabulous surprise!

Posted Dec 14, 2014
Found the staff most helpful and accommodating. This was a first time visit to the area and to this hotel! Had booked it online and didn't know what to expect...an impressive surprise. The purpose of our visit was to see Disney and this location, shuttle service more than met all of our needs.

Modern Hotel In The Heart of Downtown Disney

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, beds, and hotel staff
Cons: The current construction in Downtown Disney can make commuting difficult, but that's not the fault of the hotel
Location: The heart of Downtown Disney
When we arrived, the front desk staff was phenomenal with check-in! The hotel is very modern and the front lobby is ALL WHITE, so it was a lot different from other hotels we had stayed at. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the entire internal aspects of the hotel. We had a room that overlooked the pool and it was a great view to have. The beds were soooo comfortable and the pillows were the softest I have ever slept on. We will definitely stay here again and I definitely look forward to it.

Great Value and Location

Posted Dec 6, 2014
The B Resort offered clean, comfortable accommodations at a very fair price. You pay an extra $16/day to park your own car or $21/day for valet. I chose valet since I was traveling with my 5 yr old son, and it was a lot more convenient at the end of a long day at the Magic Kingdom. You also pay an extra $20 day resort fee, not sure exactly what justified that other than the use of Aveda shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Anyway, the B Resort is conveniently located only about 10 minutes from the Magic Kingdom. They offer a shuttle which I didn't utilize since I chose to rent a car. If you want the freedom to come and go as you please during your stay in Orlando, I highly recommend renting a car. You don't have to wait for shuttles, or make multiple stops. So you pay extra for parking, but time is money, and to me it was worth the convenience. The hotel itself was clean. It had a nice fragrant odor in the lobby. We arrived around noon, well in advance of the 4 pm check in time. Still, they were able to get us into a room immediately. The room location could have been better. We were on the ground floor with a lousy view, but maybe that's because we received a good nightly rate, and the third night free. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to sleep and shower. So it wasn't a big deal. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The only problem I experienced was a long wait for a valet to get the car when it was time to check out.

Ants and broken air conditioning

Posted Dec 5, 2014
Air conditioning went out on Day 2 and was never properly fixed. Not only did it not cool the room, but when the fan was on it made a terrible screeching noise that woke us up in the middle of the night. In addition there were ants in the bathroom and around the minibar. The hotel staff was polite but the problems were never fully resolved.
