Hidden GemPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Security, comfort
Cons: Needs a breakfast bar in the morning
Location: Um..... Everything is nearby. It's just off route 192 and within a few miles of an I-4 exit
This place was awesome. Friendly staff. Nice and quiet. Very secure, gated resort within walking distance of Old Town. The beds were soft and comfortable, the pool was nice and the pond had fish, turtles and even a gator! I want to come back. ;) The only thing that lacked was a breakfast area.

Very spacious roomsPosted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: The spacious rooms
Cons: The WiFi was way too slow
Location: We had a car so we loved that we can drive anywhere within a couple of minutes.
It was our second time at the Barefoot, last year we stayed at the Barefoot Suites in the tower building. I think they are from different owners. This year we stayed in a townhouse. Rooms are very spacious with separate room from the living room, Rooms have a washer dryer, which is very convenient if you're traveling with children. Wish they had a full kitchen like their neighbors with a stove top and a full size fridge. WiFi was way to slow. We had no housekeeping, but we didn't mind. Complimentary breakfast is just orange juice and coffee with some donuts. There's a lady trying to sell you timeshare in the breakfast room. Resort is next to Old Town,an amusement park, you won't get bothered by the noise at night. On Saturdays it will get very crowded, so drive safely if you have a car. Otherwise the resort itself is in a very peaceful quiet place.

Very PleasedPosted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff and the distance from the main highway (4). We were not far from it, but away enough where it was not congested.
Cons: TV reception was so-so in the living room. The front door area could have been cleaner.
Location: It is right off of 192. From there, you can get anywhere without having to get on the highway. Lots of food choices and supermarkets.
I did not know how much of busy part of town the area of the hotel was in. That was my fault. I was nervous right away. The hotel is somewhat secluded from the main street, so peace and quiet was a pleasant surprise. The staff was awesome. We dealt with many employees and all were wonderful and accommodating. A great deal for the price. The rooms were well kept and the pool area was spacious and clean. We requested a full kitchen and we had all we needed. Thanks!

COMFORTABLE, BUT TELEVISION AND WIFI NOT GREATPosted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Close to old town and places to eat, felt secure, with security gate for car entry, needed to get through two sets of doors to get to unit.roomy units
Cons: Improve and Upgrade TelevisionSystem. SORT OUT WIFI
Location: Old town, restaurants nearby. not far to Disney
we had a one bedroom unit, double door entry. the bedroom had queen bed which was not big, but it was comfortable.the kitchen had a dishwasher, cooker, coffee maker etc, also a washer dryer in hall. the living area was good and also comfortable, but we both stay in most nights, we found the television to be very poor, not even a "whats on channel". the wifi did not work while we were their. The complex is right across quiet road from OLD TOWN, it was also not noisy their.Their was wifi in reception.

Excellent for the PricePosted May 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
Hotel very nice and roomy for the price. Bathroom is miserable, no counter to put anything on. But would deal with it for the bargain price but not full price.
