Good location with great rooms and amenities.Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Pool(s) clean nice looking rooms.
Cons: The fact they charge your credit card immediately instead of using it to hold the room.
Location: Orlando stuff.
Great, would go here again. Only real issue was the their billing policy.

Some rude guests... But beautiful placePosted Feb 18, 2015
We had the same problem everywhere... Rude guests. There is nothing that the resort could do about people's ability to be kind or be better neighbors... But everything they could control was tip top.

Close to DisneyPosted Feb 16, 2015
We recently spent 10 nights in a 2 bedroom Disney Fireworks suite at the Blue Heron. It's a good location for DisneyWorld, just a few minutes drive away. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and several places for grocery shopping just down the road (super Walmart, Winn Dixie, Publix). It was nice to watch Disney fireworks at night from the suite. The staff was friendly. We had no pots/pans for cooking upon arrival, so we notified the desk & the next morning had a brand new set of pots/pans still sealed in the box. This was clearly above & beyond. Our suite seemed dated though, smelled musty and always felt damp, and didn't seem to be cleaned well. We had a few glitches in the room and reported to the front desk, which were never fixed (although one was a faulty dryer, which is a bigger fix than can be done while guests are staying in the suite). The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable. It was decent enough, considering we were only there mornings & nights, but we have stayed in much nicer condos near Disney for less money.

Nice hotelPosted Feb 16, 2015
It was a very nice hotel. The parking was a bit challenging at times. I feel that a truck and trailer should not be able to take up 7 parking spots. I feel that they should have parked else where.

Love itPosted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: The view was great, the hotel was peaceful, and the room had a lot of space.
Cons: The chairs were stained in the kitchen and the ants.
Location: Very close to downtown Disney. A lot of food and stores near by.
The room was peaceful. The view was great. The only issue was there was no house keeping provided because out length of stay without a fee. Lastly there were ants in the kitchen. After seeing how to keep the ants away the rest of my stay was great.

Good for what we paid for itPosted Feb 5, 2015
Pros: Spaciousness of the rooms, location, views, pool.
Cons: Parking, outside/grounds, shuttle availability.
Location: Very close to Disney parks and Downtown Disney. Lots of restaurants close by, within 5 minutes of grocery stores.
We stayed for 7 nights and we were very comfortable in our 1 bedroom. It was really nice to be so close to the Disney parks, however, we weren't able to utilize the shuttle because it didn't run very often. The room itself was clean, updated, and well-equipped. The pool was very nice, and the views on both sides of the hotel were really great. My only complaint is that the grounds are kind of tired, and the parking garage is laid out horribly and hard to get in and out of. Do yourself a favor - if you stay here, park on the second floor in the outside area. Much easier to navigate (especially if you're in a van like we are!). Overall, it was a good experience for the price we paid.
