“Not horrible, but where you only stay once.”

Great location and extremely nice people. Clean bedding and good tv. But bug spatter on ceiling, dirt on woodwork, old, old hardware, tiny old toilet, burn on carpet, absence of a clock radio, ancient bathroom light, filth on hair dryer plug, rust on steam iron holder (and poorly installed ironing board holder 12 inches too low), along with bed springs that tell you they're six inches under you ... all add up to a right price-see-ye-later experience. They need to borrow half-a million (or a million) bucks and renovate the rooms, which might have been great in 1968. Can't beat the location. Can do without the pepto-bismol stucco walls. I hope they do better in the future.

“Not so good...”

Kind of sketchy. Towels and bedspread had holes. Continental breakfast consisted of bread and a toaster. Would not stay again.

“don't stay here”

i don't usually write things pro or con, BUT this place is terrible! here goes: they charge for ice and two of the three ice machines didn't work, no clock in the room, charge for coffee in the lobby, only small soap bars, few tv channels, no klenex, remote had no numbers only up and down buttons and they didn't always change the channel, loud and soft buttons on the remote didn't work either, breakfast was only one kind of cereal and wheat bread.

The hotel is okay. If you are just using it as a place to sleep you should be fine. If you are afraid of bugs stay away.

“Switched rooms twice. Bad experience.”

First thing I noticed was an occasional bug. It wasn't terrible, and I thought it was an isolated incident. Also, one of the power outlets didn't work, which caused one of the lights to not work. Once we realized our toilet didn't flush properly, we asked to change rooms. We were moved and the first thing we noticed was that the air conditioning would not turn on at all and the room was extremely hot and humid. Before getting settled we called and asked to change rooms again. He said that instead, he would send a maintenance guy to fix the air conditioning, but he woulnd't be able to get their until the next day. We insisted that we wanted another room. When we went to the front desk to get the new keys, he said to us, "This is the last time." as if we were doing this for fun. The third room we got was seemingly ok at first glance and we ended up staying in that room for the duration of the stay, but did notice the occasional bug every once in a while. The breakfast was an absolute joke. They offered two loafs of white bread and a toaster. I'm pretty sure they re-heated and the leftover coffee from the previous day too. Bottom line is this is as cheap as you can get. It is the absolute bottom of the barrel hotel choice. I would never recommend anyone to stay here. There are literally dozens of hotels along 192 in Kissimmee. Choose something else.

Area recommendations

Go to the Island of Adventures theme park in Universal Studios. Best bang for your buck. Best roller coasters. Best night life (Universal City Walk). Much better than Disney, especially if you don't have kids.

“It's just to sleep right?”

Overall the hotel was alright. The cleanliness of the bedroom however was not the best. The air conditioners outer filter was "extremely" dirty, I would not like to imagine how the filter inside is. It's simply an "ok" place to sleep at if your on vacation.

Area recommendations

Lake Buena Vista is a good place to stay, it's cleaner and it's close to the International drive and parks.

When to go

November is a great time to go to Orlando if your visiting the Disney parks. Very few rain. the Disney parks are not as full on November as they are in summer.

Dining

If your a large family looking where to dine the Golden Corral is the place for you. All you can eat buffet's with a good selection of diverse food choices.
