“More than I expected”

Contrary to other reviews, my stay at the courtyard inn was very nice.The location is next to a plethora of restaurants and stores. And no more than ten minutes to any park...The room we stayed in was nice.It was clean, the bed was soft and it was quiet. There is a shuttle to the Disney parks that has a cost of less than $10 per person round trip but it has very specific and spaced times of operation. The hotel is fated and the parkings included. I found no fault in our time spent there and the staff was very courteous. I will gladly return again.

“I will be back soon”

Orlando`s best hotel. The staff is thoughtful. The quality of hotel service is excellent and friendly. The breakfast is excellent too, but is the same all year. The hotel has a wonderful pool, mainly when the sun shines. I recommend this hotel to a nice stay at all.

Area recommendations

The Disney parks are the best. They are near the hotel by car. Downtown Disney is wonderful and has many beautiful stores and good food and it is next to the hotel too. There is an outlet at the same ave of the hotel with great brands. There are good restaurants around the hotel too.

Shopping

I love shopping in Orlando. The best quality and brand, I really find there.

Dining

Dining in Orlando is great. I have good experiences in Red Lobster, in Outback and Oliver`s Garden. They´re awsome. I enjoy the Dennis and Perkins restaurants and mainly the Ihop, my best one.

“Too Noisy”

While the staff was polite enough, we did not enjoy our stay here. Upon check in the staff mentioned moving us to a room with a pool view the next day. We never heard back from them on it, but I wasn't real worried about it the first night either. I really wish they had moved us. The walls to the rooms are just too thin and there is a shared door between them. We could here the people in the room next to us talking all the time. In particular a large group of teenagers was staying at the hotel a the same time and ended up in the room next to us. We were woken up by them bouncing a ball off of the door at 3 am. After complaining, the staff called the room of teenagers and they finally stopped bouncing the ball off the walls, but we could still hear them talking until 4:30 am. We heard from other guests that we weren't the only ones woken up in the middle of the night by that group. We received an appology letter under our door the next morning, but that doesn't change the fact we were on a relaxing vacation and kept up all night. The hotel should plan ahead for groups like that and separate them off to avoid problems. Also the parking is horrible. There is very little parking near the front of the building, so most of the time we had to park around the back of the building and enter through the pool. Several nights we couldn't get the doors to open and had to walk around the building until we found one that would open. It was definitely a game we didn't enjoy every night.

Dining

If you are spending several days at Disney, look into the meal plans. The food is ridiculously expensive, but it is also too much of a pain to leave every day to eat somewhere else.

Nightlife

Choose a hotel closer to the parks and not Downtown Disney. If you are looking for a nightlife, Downtown DIsney is dead. All the clubs have been closed. Part of our hotel selection was the idea we could go hang out at Downtown Disney at night, but there isn't much more than shopping there now.

“Great hotel, super close to Disney”

Our stay in this hotel was great. The room was large enough for all us to be quite comfortable. The food court was perfect too....the entire Village felt very safe and secure.
