“adequate for one night stay.”
Location is close to UCF. Good for one night stay. Nothing special at location.
“Not impressed at all.”
Non smoking room was smoked in. The whole room had a terrible smell to it form the smoke and there were no other rooms available since it was back to school and college the weekend I was there. I feel that I SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED a credit for my stay there. the next morning I woke up with a headace. It was one of the worst stays I have ever had at a hotel.
“Convenient to UCF”
I recently stayed here for the UCF Homecoming weekend. The hotel wasn't very clean, but was extremely cheap in comparison to the other hotels in the neighborhood. The rooms are small but acceptable for the price.Even though I checked in after midnight (when the front desk was closed) the security guard was fast friendly and efficient in processing my check-in.
“not impressed”
it was all right.
“Not impressed”
Basics that have become expected in a hotel were missing (ie hair dryer, shampoo, iron and board in each room. 24 hour staffing of the hotel) The airconditioner was not working correctly in one of our rooms. We could have called the owner on the red phone outside the the office but who is going to do that at 1am? My son needed an iron at 6:30 am. The office doesn't open until 7. You have to get the iron and board from the office. This wasn't something we thought to ask about when checking in the previous evening when the office was open. For our purposes of being close to the University for the following morning graduation and not have to pay too much for a room for only one night with an very early checkout, it was OK but I definitely wouldn't stay there for an extended period.
“Not Terrible for Amount Paid...loved the kitchenette.”
I read several online reviews regarding the overwhelming scent of cigarettes, so I brought Febreeze. Would suggest a scented candle. Beds were rock hard, kitchentte was a pleasant surprise - 2 stovetop burners, pots, pans, glassware, silverware. Standing shower, only and no shampoo. only small soap. Lots of rust stains and random hairs. Was quiet, saw security on site and just 10 minutes from anything you need in the UCF area. Not terrible.
“Just sleep in your car”
Paper thin walls kept me up at 3 in the morning as guests next door were disruptive. Its just a small motel room with 1 less bed and a small fridge + half a stove NOT WORTH IT AT ALL; I EXPECT A PARTIAL REFUND FROM EXPEDIA.
“Not worth the money.”
This hotel is not a "suite" but a smallish hotel room where they have put small stove, fridge and sink in the former closet. Ants abound, towels scratchy, bed small. Room is only cleaned at an extra cost and smelled of smoke. Last year I stayed for much less money with many amenities. No amenities here at all,No pool or even a place to sit out. I needed places not in the "heart" of Disney and this was way overpriced. I am not a picky traveler at all, having been in Peace Corps, but this place was below my standards for the money. Great Greek Restaurant across the street.
“My stay”
Stayed at hotel for 3 nights. The good: not very expensive, a/c worked great, security was around everytime you looked. Not so good: my remote was missing for the tv, not many cable channels, room kind of had a smoke smell (room was non smoking), no items that you would normally find in a room 9 shampoo, soap, ice bucket, etc..) The bad: everytime I went in and out, my room key would not let me back in the room. One night I was locked out of my room at 1:00 am and it was storming outside.
“It was ok...”
If you're only visiting Orlando for a short time and have things planned to do outside of the room - then this hotel is fine. It serves its purpose in offering a bed, a shower, and a small kitchen. However, I requested a non-smoking room and my room reeked of smoke! I even went out and bought an air freshener for my one-night stay there. Perhaps I could have asked for a change of room, but I had too many things going on that day and didn't have the time to switch. The price was good and it met my needs for the trip, but its true that you get what you pay for.
