Pros: The room was comfortable and beautiful
Cons: Complementary coffee in the lobby
Everything about the stay was great except that there was no complementary coffee in the lobby. I do not like the coffee in the room. Most hotels have a complementary breakfast or at least coffee.

Not worth the price

Pros: Location to Amway center, and shuttle guy was very nice.
Cons: The parking, the bistro and needs to have a gift shop or vending.
Location: Good Location to Amway center and great shuttle service. Even though you definitely pay for it!
The room was fine, It was clean. There were no amenities. The view was horrible. The restaurant/bistro was very expensive and food was horrible. We had to pay for parking. Paid too much a night for no service. Would never stay again!

Location: Location right next to freeway too noisy
The staff and overall hotel are very nice BUT the problem is the location, It is right next to the IH 4.and one can hear the traffic day and night. The windows have no curtains, instead they have built in slats so you have to look out the slats like a prisoner.Staff is great but the location would make me choose not to stay there.

Hotel is nice and the staff was very helpful. The sheets were scratchy although the beds were relatively comfortable. They had a very limited breakfast buffet that was only fair . My biggest issue was the noise . Close to I-4 and the railroad tracks , it was noisy all night even though we were on the 12th floor. Not to mention the other hotel patrons on my floor that were coming and going at all hours. Someone was beating in my door at 2:30 am.. Security finally came up.. But I continued to hear noise all night.. No sleep!

The room was large and the shower was excellent. I was disappointed that the tub was the standard size even though it looked like a soaker in the photo. The bed was very comfortable.

Not all Crownes are created equal

I had high expectations of the Crowne Plaza Hotel because I had previously stayed in other Crowne Plaza Hotels around the world, most notably the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dubai - superior. I have also stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in San Antonio, Texas - I am disappointed that not all Crowne Plaza hotels provide the same level of service. this is the first hotel I have ever been to where nobody offered to take my bags to the room. if you are accustomed to receiving a high level of customer service then you will find a different experience at this hotel. it felt like the people working here were very eager for you to be self sufficient and not have to do be required to bother with you. I suspect that because Orlando is a destination for people going to Disney and Universal Studios and this kind of thing a lot of hotels can get away with mediocre customer service since I think many people who come to Orlando are not really accustomed to what a four and five star hotel experience should really be like, so they are happy to settle for less. if I were to have visited this hotel when I was 17 years old in high school it probably at that time would have blown my mind away. I'm in my thirties now and have done extensive world traveling and I am disappointed with the level of service that the people in united states receive compared to other places in the world. I was not allowed to plug in my laptop to the TV in the room via the HDMI cable because of "viruses"
