My wife and I arrived at 10:00 PM. There were so many vagrants loitering in the parking lot that we drove away even though we prepaid for a room. The $20. pet fee had been attractive; for safety we drove to Clermont where we paid a $75. pet fee and slept soundly.

The individuals you observed were most likely the lawn care company employees, who store their equipment and vehicles at the rear of the adjacent strip mall where they have an office, or construction crews who are our guests while working on projects in the area. Their presence late afternoon into the evening time is typical as they return from their day's work.We ensure all guest vehicles are registered at check-in to maintain security and comfort for everyone staying with us. Our layout, requiring passage by the front office for access, further enhances this security measure.We take the security and comfort of our guests very seriously, employing measures like registering all guest vehicles at check-in. It's unfortunate you felt uncomfortable, leading to your decision not to check in, especially given the misconceptions about the people in the parking lot.While we respect your decision, we stand by the safety and security of our property. Should you reconsider, we're here to offer the comfortable and value-driven experience we're known for.

The evening check-in lady, Fannie was absolutely fabulous!!! 5* WELL WORTH the salary she SHOULD BE RECEIVING. Keep in mind, I’ve never met her in my life until check-in and she just blew me away!! “Well worth the price of admission” as they say. The most egregious aspect I discovered, is this motel won’t clean your room once unless staying 3 days!!!

This is a decent hotel for the price. It’s a typical budget hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room was quiet for the most part and on the surface it was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had standard amenities. However, if you are looking for anything above and beyond, this isn’t for you. The comforter/top blanket on one of the beds had crumbs on it, long black hairs, and multiple stains (at least 2 that were very likely blood. They looked like they had not been washed. Since this was not a blanket I was going to use for sleeping, I just threw it on the floor. The bathroom had stains/spots that hadn’t been cleaned both on wall behind the toilet and on wall in front of toilet. The shower/tub had a lot of mildew around the nonslip pads. There was a pill left on floor from a previous guest. This would have potentially deadly if a child or pet had found it. The floors were clean if you looked at them but walking around without socks made you realize they hadn’t been mopped. Again, we did not expect 5 star accommodations at quality inn, but we didn’t pay $100 a night either. This wasn’t a cheap hotel. I would stay there again bc the beds were comfy and it was quiet. But I think the cleanliness could be kicked up a notch.

This is not up to our standard, and we are addressing this oversight immediately to ensure it does not happen again.Regarding the bathroom, the marks around the non-slip strips in the bathtub are actually adhesive flakes that can separate from the strips after cleaning. We understand this can be concerning, and our team is currently investigating and looking for a solution to prevent this issue in the future.We also want to clarify that our floors are mopped between guests and during all housekeeping services. However, your feedback indicates that there may have been a lapse in our cleaning process during your stay. This is being taken very seriously, and we are implementing measures to ensure our cleaning protocols are rigorously followed to prevent such incidents.Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we are deeply concerned about the pill you found on the floor. This is a serious issue, and we are reviewing our cleaning procedures to ensure a more thorough inspection of our rooms.While we're glad to hear you would consider staying with us again due to the comfort and quietness of our accommodations, we understand that there is room for improvement in our cleanliness standards. Let’s just say the owners really love their investment and keep it clean and bright. Beds and pillows are comfy and sleepable lol. Yes it’s an older place but it’s reasonably priced and clean. I’ve stayed several times and never had any issues.

Bed was comfortable. Sheets were of cotton/polyester blend providing poor quality of sleep. Bright colors of bedspread, drapes, walls (dark green and blue) were harsh and unpleasant to look at——stark—- not providing a tranquil, calming, clean, and welcoming feeling making the room appear shabby, unkept, and outdated. There was a large spot at the end of the bedspread. Liked that I could open a window and the air conditioner worked well. The man who checked me in was dull and had a matter-of-fact dry and inexpressive demeanor. I did not enjoy my stay.

Clean Room at a Value
The property is in the middle of renovations. My room was comfortable, nice bed, clean. nice floors. paint job in the room was badly done. furniture is outdated. Gentlman at the counter wasn't very friendly about check out. Meaning, he said, "check out before 11am" what does that mean? 10:50? 10:55? Not sure why some hotels want to push you out as opposed to allowing you what you need that morning.

Property is in a good location. It's right off a major road and has a lot of restaurants and shopping nearby. It's also not that far from Disney. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Didn't like that in the three nights we stayed, no one emptied garbage, checked on supplies, or changed towels. However, they gave you clean towels & toilet paper on request. You really couldn't beat the price.

AVOID!! we had booked a room here but didn’t even get down. We drove up and half the bottom floor has caution tape around it, random people in the parking lot. With a small child, we be didn’t feel safe to get down. We tried calling the hotel but no one answered. Then they refused to refund us because we “no showed”. AVOID

This tape was a part of our active commitment to enhancing and maintaining our property. We were in the midst of painting our guest walkways on the ground floor to ensure our facilities remain fresh and inviting. Alongside the caution tape, we had clearly placed cones and 'wet paint' signs to inform our guests of the ongoing work. This maintenance is crucial for us to provide an updated and comfortable environment for all who stay with us.Regarding the "random people in the parking lot," it was a particularly busy weekend at our hotel due to a major under-17 sports tournament in the area as well as a few other events. Most of our guests during this period were families attending the event. Our parking lot was indeed busy as we were at full capacity, with our staff efficiently managing over 40 guest check-ins within a few hours. I understand your concerns about the safety of your small child, but please be assured that the safety and security of our guests are always our top priority. Our property is well-lit, with 24/7 CCTV monitoring of the front office, walkways, and parking lot. Additionally, all vehicles entering our premises pass by our 24/7 manned front desk, and we record car information from all our guests at check-in to maintain high security standards.As for your comment about not being able to reach us by phone, I have reviewed our phone records and found no missed calls from the number associated with your reservation. In some instances, guests may use incorrect numbers sourced from the internet, leading to such communication issues.Regarding your no-show charge, it was applied because we did not receive any cancellation or change request from you. We reserved your room, expecting your arrival, and unfortunately had to turn away potential guests due to our full capacity. Had we been informed of your decision not to stay, we would have considered your situation, even with a non-refundable reservation.I hope this response clarifies the situation and sheds light on our hotel's practices and commitment to guest safety and satisfaction.
