No what we were used to for a Disney Property.Posted Mar 7, 2014
Not what we are used to for Disney. Facilities (pool, room etc) all nice but staff were not real helpful, no pool towels at pool... you had to go to the front desk which required a walk since the pool doors were "under construction." Food service was slow, high priced and did not have knowledgeable people. The desk to get tickets was also a problem. After waiting and working with staff for 20 minutes for her to figure out our tickets, etc. she booked four of our party for non-magic Kingdom tickets (the other 2 were correct). This then required us when we went to Magic Kingdom to be denied entry and have to go wait another 20 minutes to get our tickets "upgraded". For the first time I would say Disney was not hitting on all cylinders. Also Disney should do what many other parks and hotels have done and put out hand sanitizing stations around and particularly at food service locations.

A Well appointed hotelPosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: We appreciated the modern rooms , comfortable beds, bath and poolside. We felt safe both day and night. Plenty of parking.
Location: We bought day passes to the nearby attractions and dined both in the hotel and park. It was a short drive to museums , shopping and boating.
We were more than satisfied with our rooms. Modern, clean and situated close to the restaurant, pool, parking and registration. The location was exactly what we had hoped for with easy access to the attractions and airport.

Disney's ConveniencePosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: The convenience of staying on Disney property.
Cons: Could use a coffee maker in the room.
Location: We drove our car so we went directly into the parks and didn't do anything else. We were only in our hotel to shower and sleep.
I would stay at this hotel again. The room was pleasantly decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a standard room with a king bed. The room faced some landscaping and was very quiet. The best thing about this hotel is that it is on Disney property so you get all the perks---------online check-in, express checkout, Magic bands, parking pass, early entry into parks, free parking, fastpasses made at hotel, etc. I would definitely stay here again. The Disney experience and Expedia were wonderful!

DME lost my luggage for 2 daysPosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: Jo-Ann and Savannah at concierge were incredibly helpful in helping me get my lost luggage. They took names and made things happen.
Cons: The internal communications system. Every time I talked to someone to inquire about my missing luggage, I had to explain the situation over again.
Location: I mean, it's Disney World.
We used the Disney Magical Express Airport Shuttle and Bag Delivery to get me and my bags from the airport to the hotel, which includes DME taking my luggage directly to my room for me. Upon checking in to All Star Sports, we were upgraded to Saratoga Springs, with assurances our bags would also make it to our hotel room, and went to the parks. However, upon returning to our hotel room that night, we found that only my girlfriend's luggage had made it to our hotel room, and my luggage was nowhere to be found. Bell Services was non-respondant and gave me the run around. For example, they told me that they would check with All-Star Sports and call me right back. However, 30 minutes passed with no return call. I called again, only to speak to a different person and have to explain the situation all over again. Again, no return call. When I awoke the next morning to find no message and no luggage, I went down to concierge, and spoke with Jo-Ann, who was extremely pleasant, and made things happen. She explained that the luggage room at All-Star Sports was closed since I originally called so late at night. The bags were eventually delivered that night, and I finally got to change out the clothes I had worn for almost 40 consecutive hours.

Basic hotel good for sleepingPosted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: The ability to tag on extra days to the stay arranged by a group.
Cons: Cleanliness and service.
Location: It's Dismey anything you want
The hotel is one of the lower end of the price range for the Disney properties. If you plan to spend your time with the many Disney, parks, shopping and dining it's a good bargain. Otherwise the rooms are on the small side. The beds are comfortable. But unfortunately one of Mickey's friends or family had recently visited the room. Most staff were courteous and helpful, while others have failed in the service excellence Disney is known for.

Dated; but cleanPosted Mar 1, 2014
Cons: Better signage. The hotel golf carts woke me up all night. Every time some flushed a toilet I heard it. And in room coffee makers!!!!
Front desk staff was friendly. Room was small; but clean. It was obvious we were to spend our money in the café because room did not have coffee maker or microwave.
