Paying for a "Disney Experience"???

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: Big outdoor pool
Cons: Food
Location: Disney World and that is the only thing close.
Rooms were small and in need of updating. No additional amenities - breakfast/lunch/dinner @ park prices. It was fine to have Disney decor around you but I have stayed in much nicer hotels for the same price that offered breakfast and shuttles to Disney World. No close places to eat and if you like paying for mediocre food at park prices then this is the right place for you!

Much better than expected

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Normally we stay at a moderate priced hotel so we really weren't expecting much. Hotel was very clean, checkin wAs smooth. On the small size for 4 people but ok. Beds were comfortable. We ate at the cafeteria a lot and there was a good variety. Grilled cheese, pizza, burgers. Lots of snacks available bagels toast etc. very affordable . Staff very nice. Bus system worked great. Close to outlet malls and Walmart . Plenty of parking . Would recommend this hotel.

Fun Hotel with Easy Access to Disney Parks

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: The fun atmosphere and shuttle services to the parks and Downtown Disney. Also the airport pickup shuttle is a bonus.
Location: Disney's Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney.
This is our 3rd visit to an All-Star's Resort, having previously stayed at All-Star's Music Resort. We find the hotels very convenient for families and for accessing the 4 Disney Parks as well as Downton Disney. Overall a very pleasant stay as expected, the hotel staff were very helpful in terms of our booking tickets for Disney and arranging fast passes for the next days. The rooms are basic but comfortable and we recommend this resort to families with children as a fun place to stay whilst visiting DisneyWorld.

Nice economy hotel.

No need to stay in a fancy hotel since most of your time is in the parks. Great place to stay that wont break the budget.

Value Hotel Sports

Posted Dec 14, 2014
Pros: The rate in comparison to other hotels in the Disney complex.
Cons: The rooms are small especially the toilet, bath tub/shower area. I stubbed my toe closing the door to this area. Ouch!! Coffee pot would be great!
Location: This was in Disney World. That speaks for itself.!!
I booked the hotel based on rate. I should think that Disney could compete on price point with most hotels on I 95. Wrong!! Disney needs to spruce it up!! I will say that upon accessing our room, we observed many jr. high aged boys (guests) playing around the hotel. These children were extremely well behaved and there was zero noise overnight and into the early morning. Kudos to their chaperones and the kids.

Nice Hotel, great to stay at Disney.

Posted Dec 9, 2014
Pros: Location, the Disney transportation.
Location: Location is great, hop on a bus and you're anywhere you want to be within Disney.
We were not sure about booking this hotel. Although a budget property, it is still quite a bit more expensive than other properties off site. We are really pleased that we went for it. The room was comfy, clean, everything we wanted. The location was fantastic, it felt safe. We stayed a couple of nights off site at the end of the holiday and agreed that staying on site is much more convenient. For us, this budget property was perfect. We spent no more than 2 hours a day in our room so it would have felt pointless paying for something more upscale.

Nice, big hotel

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: The price
Cons: More comfortable beds
The staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel is massive -- be prepared for a long walk! Great hotel for kids -- lots of things for them to do to burn off energy. The room was functional -- not bad, not fantastic.

Close to the parks and great sports theme for kids

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Close to the parks, great food, great pool, great ammentities.
Cons: The parking is sometimes a problem when you get back from the parks.
Location: It is close to the Disney parks, Downtown Disney! Great location in Orlando if you are visiting Disney.
My son loves sports and this hotel is perfect! We celebrated my sons 10th birthday and it was perfect! The hotel is close to the parks and has so much to do. The pool area is great and it has a great area for adults to relax while the kids play. My son loves this hotel so we stay here anytime we visit Disney! Great experience!

My family had a great stay! Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the complimentary shuttle to the parks. Just wished the rooms heating and cooling was more accurate to temperature.

Love the Disney properties!

Posted Dec 1, 2014
Uncle Walt will take care of you! If you are going to the parks you should stay at the resorts! Reasons: -1- you get to use their transportation system for free. -2- you get extra magic hours at selected parks on selected days. Come in early, stay later, get more fun in. -3- if you buy items you can have them sent back to your hotel so no dragging shopping bags around with you all day. Not enough reasons? How about pools, food court style food, keeping the magic going, insanely clean and well-maintained rooms and grounds...
