Great hotel for families with young childrenPosted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Lifeguards at the pool were actively monitoring all.
Cons: More selection of food choices would have been nice.
Location: The Disney Art of Animation Resort is located in Orlando, Florida. It is close to the Walt Disney World theme parks.
We really enjoyed our stay at Disney's Art of Animation resort. The pools were amazing. We did not stay in a suite and our room was small but comfortable. Our 6 year old daughter loved the pools so much that she would have rather stayed at the pools for a day than go to one of the Disney parks!

Great hotel and amazing breakfastPosted Jul 24, 2015
Loved this hotel. The rooms was cute and very comfortable. The outside surroundings with all the statues were totally adorable. Having a Disney shop at the resort was handy as were the shuttle buses to the parks. The best thing about the resort had to be the cafeteria/restaurant. Loads of food options to choose from at breakfast and dinner. My friend cannot eat dairy and gluten and it was so easy for her to get food she could eat. The chef came out at every meal, took her order and made it himself and it was all yummy. Finding this at a hotel can be hard sometimes and it was greatly appreciated!

One of Disney newest hotelsPosted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: The bright, colorful Disney characters, the pool so close to our room. The decor of the room. The hard-working cleaning staff. The convenient cafeteri
Cons: NOTHING. Everything was great.
Location: We were only there for 4 days, only interested in WDW.
The staff at this resort were fantastic, friendly, helpful, professional. They went above and beyond for us. We arrived before check-in expecting to wait patiently. They found us a room that was clean and ready. We were in the Magic Kingdom before noon.

Very basic. A towel hanger was brokenPosted Jul 21, 2015
It is clean. The room is small and limited amenities. Not a good value for a $190 per night.

Pictures were so much better!Posted Jul 12, 2015
Granted we just had the mermaid room which if you get you are stuck the furthest away about a 15 minute walk for food, drinks and hotel shuttles. We didn't have pools availAble 3 times in 2 days because if weather and no way to check that but to walk over to see. We got the auto refill cups and were supposed to be able to fill anywhere in premises. Not. We had to walk 15 minutes to get a drink. Not even vending for drinks. Not a fan!!

Great hotel for kids!Posted Jul 7, 2015
We stayed in the little mermaid room and my 5 year old daughter loved it! The room is perfect for the price and we enjoyed both the little mermaid pool and the finding nemo pool. It is a bit of a walk from the lobby to the little mermaid section but lots to look at (statues) and take photos of along the way so my daughter enjoyed it.

No fireworks on 4thPosted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: nothing much
Cons: the food
I have stayed at Disney Resorts several times over the years and actually 3 times prior to this stay this year. This was the least enjoyable of them all. We were making a "quick run" over the July 4th weekend and only place available other than the deluxe resorts was this and Pop Century. We've stayed at Pop Century before and thought we would try this experience. We were on the back side of property which required us to drive around to catch bus to park. Amenities were "shaved" back in these rooms in comparison to other places we stayed. The food choices were not good. We went to other resorts to eat or for the first time, left the resort area and went outside of Disney to eat. I just guess I'm spoiled by other resorts we stayed at in past. Won't make that mistake again. If you haven't experienced the other resorts, you'll probably be o.k.
