“Boardwalk Hotel Feb 2012”
Very nice hotel. Well maintained, spotless. Good food and entertainment on the hotel grounds. Nice pool and for those with young children, staff had games around the pool in the afternoons.
“Great hotel at an excellent location”
The Boardwalk Villas were excellent. The only thing that would have made the room more comfortable is a king size bed instead of a queen size. The room has a microwave, mini fridge & kitchen sink. The balcony had a nice view of the pool area. The location was the best part of staying here. You can walk to Epcot & the Disney Hollywood Studios or there is a boat that will take you there, too. The Boardwalk area itself has plenty of choices for food to include: the ESPN Club, a Meditteranean restaurant, a high end seafood restaurant(Flying Fish), a brewery, a bakery, a candy/ice cream shop, a pizza window, and a hot dog stand. All of this does come with a price, but I thought it was worth it. This will be my first choice for Disney accomodations for future trips.
“Outstanding Hotel”
Stayed at the Villas in September 2011. Received a great price from Expedia. Lovely grounds. Outstanding service. Friendly cast members. Terrific location if you prefer Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Will return again if able to get the same value. A wonderful Disney experience.
“Made my sister's 40th birthday fantastic.”
Our entire family enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to Epcot, walk to fine dining, walk to shops, walk to the pool...
“Love this place!”
I was completely awed by this amazing hotel. From the staff, to the amazing lobby decor, to my luxurious studio rooms. Happening place, always stuff to do. loved it.
“Fantastic!”
Totally loved the hotel, location, everything, would love to return.
“Boarwalk Villas Great for Families!”
Great location plus a kitchen and washer/dryer. They even supplied the Tide, dishwashing soap, papertowels, dishes etc.. Much more than we expected. We loved the 3 minute ferry ride to Epcot. During the day we would go to the Magic Kingdom and at night take the ferry to Epcot. Since it was so close it was easier than the 20 minute busride to the Magic Kingdom with 2 sleepy kids. Staying on property really has it's perks - Magic Express Bus that picks you up from the airport with no hassel and check into the flight right at the Hotel...they take your luggage and you are free and clear to enjoy the day before the flight. Disney really knows how to make traveling fun & EASY!!!
“Excellent Disney Experience!”
The BoardWalk Inn and the adjacent BoardWalk Villahs are an ideal location for Disney visitors. Epcot is literally steps away. A sligtly longer but very pleasant stroll takes you to Hollywood Studios. Both parks are also accessible by boat from the launch in the back of the hotel. The BoardWalk areas offers nice shops and restaurants as well as constant entertainment. The BoardWalk Villas are terrific, with a jacuzzi tub and full kitchen in the 1 and 2 bedroom units. These rooms are wonderful for families, but also afford nice stretch out space for couples. The separate living and sleeping areas ares especially useful when one family member awakens earlier or stays up later than the others.
“Loved it!”
The hotel was beautiful! It 's very conveniently located - within walking distance to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. It is located on a boardwalk around Crescent Lake. There were several other hotels within walking distance. We enjoyed walking around the lake, past the other hotels (.8 mile). There were numerous restaurants to choose from (Flying Fish was our favorite), and, in the evenings, there was always entertainment on the boardwalk (magic shows, jugglers, etc.). The hotel employees were always extremely coureous and helpful. The Boardwalk is our favorite place to stay, and we highly recommend it.
“Husband's Favorite Hotel”
My husband and I stayed at the Boardwalk villas (studio room) and it was better then we expected. It was large, clean, near the pool/garden area and it was quiet. The Boardwalk is within walking distance to two major Disney parks (Epcot & Hollywood Studios), so it was easy to walk or take a ferry to enjoy the parks. We loved the evening activities along the Boardwalk, such as, a night club with dancing and music, carnival games and food, and lots of entertainers. Every evening was fun. The pool wasn't too crowded and it has a great waterslide. We must have gone down it at least 10 times. We would definitely book another hotel stay at the Boardwalk.
