We didn't have a welcoming! There was no bell boys around to help with luggage so they sent us in the bus to find our own room. The room was nice but outdated. The bathroom door was broken and hard to close until it finally fell apart. The pool area is great though! The transportation takes too long and are not friendly!

Beautiful tropical setting with ALOTof walking!Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: the main pool and toddler area.
Cons: Swim diaper policy was very lax and cost us an entire morning when the pool had to be cycled to clean out waste! They also need golf cart shuttles.
Location: Bus service was too lengthy. Too many stops within resorts.
Overall a pleasent experience, great room, great food and great pools. However, no Disney characters in site and a tremendous anount of walking. Bus stop was close however, the ride was very lengthy to Magic Kingdom and other parks. Not the best choice for traveling with a toddler.

They are wonderful villas.Posted Jun 23, 2015
Very nice..beautiful water/beach view..could use a elevator to get luggage to 2nd floor..but all in all great place. Would be nice if you had bikes at each villa to ride to food court...but walk is not that bad. Food court was very nice...not happy with housekeeping..put our luggage in car before breakfast.left thing in fridge and on the table to pick up after...housekeeping threw EVERYTHING away...including ear buds. Felt like we were pushed into checking out. But still..very nice place!

LOVE this place!Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Pool, cleanliness, friendliness of staff
Cons: ADD A FITNESS CENTER!!
Location: Great location! Took us less than 10 minutes to get to 3 of the parks and literally right across the street from the boardwalk. Less than 5 mins DD.
This was our first experience at CBR. We absolutely loved everything about it! We went to the pool every extra minute that we had. Our kids played at the beach while my husband and I laid in the hammock. We enjoyed the bar next to the pool. The pool was nice and did not stay too crowded. I felt very safe with all the lifeguards. The kids loved the games and slides at the pool. The kids also loved roasting marshmallows and seeing the outdoor movie. I would go there and stay for 7 days and NEVER leave the resort, it was that AWESOME!!!! Can't wait to go back!!

Nice hotel for families with little kidsPosted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: The theme used for the hotel, the pools, service, clean up service (very kind and take attention to details)
Cons: Room space: I used rooms in NY-Manhattan that were bigger than this one.
Location: Go crazy going to the pools. The one for kids was fun. Plenty of slides everywhere.
This was my first experience at staying at a Disney resort hotel. There are plenty of things to do inside the hotel, they have activities arranged for the kids. A nice surprise was the pool for toddlers, which we used twice. My little one has 9 months and he loved it! There are other pools for adults and kids, with Jacuzzi's as well. The main building, Old Port Royale, has fast food restaurants inside, and there are plenty of options for the kids. The fact that you can move around taking the Disney World transportation system (bus, ferries, monorail) allows you to move to other hotels and Disney parks. In general, we enjoyed our stay at the Caribbean Beach resort. One piece of advice: If you can upgrade your room to a bigger one, go for it. The basic rooms can be used for families of 3-4, but if you are taking a bigger group with you, you need more space.

Not bad, but definitely not magical.Posted Jun 16, 2015
Staff was not friendly. Too big, didn't feel like we were at disney. Not very accommodating for anyone with a handicap. "Upgraded" to pirate room, it's in the very back and not close to anything. Asked if there was something closer since I use a cane or a wheelchair. Lady at front desk didn't even try to help and said nothing avalible, but talked to someone else and they found something closer. 1st bus driver we had acted like we didn't exist, no lights or talking. Will not stay here again.

Too big, not very moderate.Posted Jun 10, 2015
Cons: More frequent buses.
Location: You're inside Disney World so it's pretty much self evident what can be done.
Bus system is terrible, resort is too big, takes forever to get anywhere. Food is expensive. Pool theme was OK, but, chlorine level was way too high. Vacationing on site has become very difficult to justify.

Nice hotelPosted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Rooms are very quiet and clean.
Cons: Food and main pool area far from some buildings.
Location: Close to Epcot, Animal Kingdom and downtown Disney. Magic Kingdom was a 30 minute bus ride.
Took 4 year old grandson to Disney. We all had a great time
