Very relaxing and clean

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: We liked the relaxing feeling as soon as we walked in.
Cons: I cant think of anything at this time
Location: It is very close to Epcot and the buses can get you anywhere. No need to drive in Disney.
My wife and I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the breakfast and the bar by the lagoon. Very clean and all the employees were very helpful. We are going to stay here next time we come to Disney.

beautiful and close to everything

Spacious resort, easy to walk around and find where you need to go. Food was delicious in the restaurants. Biggest perk is how close it is to everything, especially Epcot and Blizzard Beach. Downtown Disney is >5 mins.

Pick a different resort hotel

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Where do I start? Our reservation was for a standard room with a king bed. The room had 2 queen beds and as there were no other rooms available...the room furnishings are worn and dated; edges of table, dressers, door, tub surround...etc. I get it, "moderate" doesn't buy you the best accommodations but the room was no better than a cheap roadside hotel room...a room that I might have been okay with in 1984 when the budget was tight. However, we certainly expected better of a Disney Resort Hotel; considering the cost. Take my advice..."Pick a different resort hotel" or better still, rent a suite nearby and a nice convertible for transportation...the busses are also a pain.

Romantic Tropical Village

Posted Sep 8, 2014
I loved this hotel! Came here on an anniversary trip with my husband and it swept us away into it's only little tropical Spanish Village. It even has a small beach with hammocks for relaxation. The pool is very nice as well. I would definitely come here again.

OK overall

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The upkeep of property was very nice and clean. Bus transportation to and from parks and airport was a great.
Cons: Would be great to insulate the rooms from outside noise. Do not have guest rooms so close to maintenance/housekeeping facilities.
Location: It's a Disney resort, so all the Disney parks are nearby
Originally asked for a king bed and my confirmation stated this, however received two queens. My room was close to house keeping storage room, so in the early morning it was noisy due to staff talking and preparing for work. In my room you can hear the outside noise very clearly (ie people walking by and talking, fireworks, etc...), therefore rooms not well insulated from outside noise. The look of the hotel rooms outside seemed a little dated. Hotel staff were very nice and pleasant. Property and grounds was kept nice and clean. Overall OK stay.
