Out dated rude staff not one friendly person.

Posted May 23, 2015
Not what I expected from Disney at all. I thought I upgraded to a Disney property this was not. Pool people rude and closed way to early. On our anniversary asked for King bed got two doubles. If you book on Expedia they don't care about you. They lied several times to us. They had that I lived in TX not CT then asked who was the man I was with? First who cares and I was treated like I just met him on the corner. My husband of 27 years. So unhappy at this place.

Nice resort with useless staff.

Posted May 18, 2015
Cons: Front desk staff seemed inexperienced and not useful. The food should be better for the price charged.
The experience was nice at first, but the pleasing environment slowly eroded to "ready to leave".

Buses were always quick and short ride to the parks. Hotel room simple but nice and staff friendly.

Will return!

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: Grounds were gorgeous! Fast bus system with several stops around the resort, so never a long walk.
Cons: I wish the gift shop was open later than 11:00pm.
Location: Great location! Quick bus ride to any of the parks or waterparks.
Had a fabulous 6 day/5 night family vacation. Plenty for everyone in the family (pools, arcade, outdoor movies and bonfire for kids, cantina at the Dig Site for mom and dad to have a drink while watching the kids swim). Great bus system! We never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus to any of the parks or waterparks (both from the hotel to park and park back to hotel). We were in the Cabanas and will request them again. A quick walk to the Dig Site, El Centro and two bus stops. Great food options for even the pickiest of eaters. The Rapid Refill cups are a must, they pay for themselves after 4 refills, plus you get to bring home a great souvenir. This was our daughters first big vacation, and they are already begging for us to rebook and head back to Coronado Springs. We will definitely be coming back, thanks to all the staff for an amazing vacation!

Tired and expensive

I stayed here years ago and it was decent. No more. It feels like the economy all star sports hotel at double the price. So not worth the money!!

Not what I expected.

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: On th.e Disney property
Cons: The rooms at the Coronado Springs are decorated in a pseudo-Mayan/Mexican style and could use updating/modernizing.
I had never stayed at a Disney hotel before, but from what I've seen of Disney World, I expected a great experience. The lobby of the Coronado Springs hotel is very nice and the staff is exceptionally helpful. I was disappointed in the first room we were given as it smelled musty, the bathroom was shabby and had mold around the tub. The front desk staff was very helpful in assigning us another room, which had the same decor, but smelled better and seemed in better condition. The main dining area is large and food is served cafeteria style with various food stations. The lines and wait for food can be long. It was difficult to find places to sit during the main breakfast time. We were unaware that the hotel had a nicer, quieter dining room until we were checking out. Unfortunately the weather was too cool and overcast for us to use the pool, which looked very nice.

Disney trip with kids

Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: Hotel rooms were very quiet. We were next door to my daughter and her two kids, we never heard the baby crying. Hotel was close to the parks.
Cons: Prices of food could be lower but high prices are to be expected at Disney.
Location: Close to parks. Bus system easy to use. Pool was gorgeous.
Hotel staff were amazing. Very helpful and nice. The pool was wonderful. Life jackets are provided and there is a slide. Perfect atmosphere for kids. The grounds were nicely landscaped and very clean. We were directly across from the laundry facility which was useful. There is a beautiful lake in the center of complex that you can walk around. We would definitely come back.

Nice hotel

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: quiet pool, laundry facilities, very pretty outside, bus stop close by.
Cons: Bathrooms updated
Location: Central to all 4 parks
Hotel was very pretty. Our room was a bit of a walk to breakfast, but it was a nice walk. Main pool was too packed with kids so we went to the quiet pool which was nice. For the price the room was perfect and the Disney bus was a great perk, just outside our door. The bathrooms need to be updated compared to other hotels. The food has come a long way since the last time we stayed at a Disney Hotel. A lot more healthy choices to pick from. All in all the hotel was good value and we would stay there again.
