Property Amenities
Disney's Pop Century Resort spans 177 acres in the Disney's Wide World of Sports® Area. This Disney Value Resort Hotel is a celebration of 20th-century pop culture, with a focus on iconography of the "Classic Years"—the 1950s through the 1990s. The buildings are fashioned as time capsules of the way Americans lived, worked, and played during these five decades.
Icons include jukeboxes, bowling pins, and Lady and Tramp (from the Disney movie, Lady and the Tramp) near the 1950s buildings; Play-Doh, Duncan Yo-Yos, and characters from The Jungle Book near the 1960s buildings; Big Wheels and eight-track tapes near the 1970s buildings; Sony Walkmans, Rubik's Cubes, and Roger Rabbit near the 1980s buildings; and laptop computers and cell phones near the 1990s buildings.
The resort has three heated pools with themes, a children's pool (unheated), an arcade, and a playground with a Goofy water feature. In addition there are laundry facilities on site and a 7,000-square-foot retail area in the resort's Classic Hall. Guests receive complimentary bus transportation to and from the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks.
Disney's Magical Express: Guests of this resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express service. Motor coaches pick up guests at Orlando International Airport and drop off at Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels. Disney staff members pick up bags and deliver them straight to guestrooms (for arrivals between 5 AM and 10 PM). Guests arriving outside of these hours should pick up their baggage at baggage claim to carry with them on the motor coach.
This hotel is nonsmoking except in designated outdoor areas.
Rooms
In phase one of this property's opening, Disney's Pop Century Resort features 2,880 guestrooms, all decorated in styles reflecting the decades from the 1950s to the 1990s.
Guestrooms provide in-room safes, phones with voice mail, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Bathrooms have separate vanity areas with hair dryers. Cribs, and irons with ironing boards are available on request; refrigerators are available on request for a daily fee. Preferred rooms are closer to the main building (with the food court) and the pools than the Standard rooms are.
Rollaway beds are available on request for rooms with king beds only (nightly surcharge); bed boards and bed rails are also available. Travelers with disabilities may request accessible rooms; visual smoke alarms and TDD telephones for hearing-impaired guests are also available on request.
All guestrooms are nonsmoking.

Dining
Everything Pop Shopping and Dining - The hotel's 640-seat food court has four different counter-service shops and a Grab-N-Go Market with a variety of dishes for quick, convenient meals. Choices include sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta, burgers, full dinners, baked goods, and ice cream.
Classic Concoctions - Located in the food court, this nighttime-only lounge has two TVs and serves cocktails, beer, wine, and appetizers such as nachos and shrimp cocktails.
Petals Pool Bar - Snacks are served poolside at this seasonal outdoor bar just outside the Everything Pop Shopping and Dining food court.
Guests can also receive pizza delivery to their rooms during evening hours.
Recreation
Disney's Pop Century Resort features three heated pools with various themes: the Bowling Pin Pool (near the 1950s buildings), the Hippy Dippy Pool (near the 1960s buildings), and the Computer Pool (near the 1980s buildings). There's also a children's pool, a playground with a Goofy-themed water feature, and an arcade called Fast Forward located in the Classic Hall.
Guests can also take advantage of additional recreational activities offered throughout the Walt Disney World® Resort, which include tennis, parasailing, water-skiing, golf (there are five PGA-caliber golf courses within the Disney complex) and miniature golf, and horseback riding. Also available in the area are racquetball and basketball courts, bicycle rentals, hiking and biking trails, and watercraft rentals. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

“My Fantastic Stay”
The rooms were beautiful and clean. They were cleaned daily and the maids start about 8:oo so if you aren't an early riser use the do not disturb sign. I loved the Disney Magical Express, it was easy and convenient It was the same way when we left, we took our luggage to airport check in, dropped off our luggage, and got our boarding passes. This was a godsend since I had a flight that night. I dropped off the luggage and went back to the parks. The room size is just as it appears in the pictures and is not big,the bathroom is small too but this is ok because it is on Disney property and was handy when I got hot or tired at parks I went back to my room to cool off and rest up. It was nice to know my room was a short bus ride away. The buses to the park were a godsend as well. The buses ran every ten to fifteen minutes. I don't know what the other complaints were about since I did not see these things. My room was clean and all of the staff on the resort was friendly amd helpful at all times. My room was by the lake and I saw rabbits,ducks, and cranes right outside my window and door. They are very domesticated. I don't have a single complaint or I would tell you. I had a wonderful vacation! I would not suggest more than two adults to this room or it will be a tight fit. I did hear toilets flushing the first day and the beds are firm but it wasn't bothersome and hardly noticed it after the first day.

you get what you pay for. we split our holiday 12 nights pop century 2 nights animal kingdom lodge. both were clean and offered good service except having to wait way beyond the timescale for our luggage in pop century. it was our anniversary whilst we were there and we even had balloons and a signed card/ mickey photo in our room that evening. buses at pop century were also busier but is a much larger complex. but it was a third of the price per night compared to animal kingdom so you expect more/better when you pay more. excellent holiday all around just wish pop century offered kettles/ tea making in rooms.as you can tell from the review i am english. all the americans do is moan and eat far too much so dont worry so much about what their reviews say. you will love the place, especially at the price.
“Very Nice for the Price and Location”
My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel and we were amazed at how clean and comfortable the hotel was. The check-in process was fast, and our room was ready as promised..Check-In time is after 3:00 PM, our room was ready at 4:00 like promised. They give you the room key and a phone number to call and verify when it is ready. It is on Disney property, and for the price we paid on a busy holiday, everything was great. Don't expect luxury from this hotel, but do expect a clean, and a very colorful and Disney themed hotel.
“Great Value”
This hotel was exactly what we expected. Great Disney details at a value price. Great for trips to WDW where you don't plan to spend much time in the room. Rooms are very basic, but nice and clean. Service at check-in was personal and exceptional.
“Impressed”
Even tough we got 2 double beds instead of the King and rollaway I asked for, we were very satisfied with our room. It was on the bottom floor right across from the pool. The room was very clean and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
