Clean and nice hotel.

Check in was fast and easy. Staff very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the hotel. They thought it was pretty awesome. Food was good and reasonable. Bus service was great as well. The only thing is that when you open the door the bed is right there, it could be moved over which would make things a bit easier when entering. If I'm honest you are hardly in the room and for the price we paid it was totally worth it. I would stay there again.

Best a poor man can get.

Posted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: Parking lot is a long way away. Be sure to borrow a luggage cart from porters.
Location: In WDW, the one time we left WDW we got caught in a huge Friday afternoon traffic jam. Once Walt gets you in the bubble, he wants to keep you there.
Inexpensive and pretty dumpy by WDW standard. YGWYPF. Refrigerator froze everything. One corner of the bed by the door was broken down and sagging. Tub faucet dripped continuously. Maids and staff were very nice, but they did deliver two other traveler's bag to our room and left them there while we were away. If you have your own car, take it to parks. Bus service is S_L_O_W. Great to be in the World. $17 parking fee included with room. Bring your own beer, cheapest beer, Bud Lite is $6.50 a bottle. everywhere.

Great Amenities

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Just about everything.....can't say that I disliked anything.
Cons: I'd like a menu outside the food court so I could see what will be served before I make a choice...Otherwise, you have to walk around to each section.
Location: There are many parks to visit, so there's never a lack of things to do.
This hotel, just like other Disney hotels, had almost everything we needed that we had at home... The only thing I would have liked would have been a coffee machine with some instant coffee/creamer....It would be nice to wake up and have that first cup of coffee in the room, instead of traipsing over to the food court. The pool was beautiful and was open very late with a lifeguard, which I've never seen at any other hotel. To have transportation to the parks for free is just another of the Disney perks that make the stay here incomparable.

So convenient to the parks

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Convenience, cost, cleanliness
Cons: Beds could use an upgrade, maid was less than stellar (never replenished kleenex and other products)
Location: Walt Disney World parks
Easy to hop the bus to go to the theme parks, friendly staff, food court experience good. Great for a quick trip that was planned last minute.

Pros: Everything
Location: All the Disney parks along with ESPN Wide World of Sports complex.
Pop Century was reasonably priced (well compared to other resorts). The Staff from bus drivers to housekeepers to front desk and every other Pop Century member who came in contact with us was very helpful and always greeted you with a smile and Hello. Facility is very clean and comfortable well landscaped and taken care of.

Okay but too busy... Long lines and overpriced food is for the parks, not the hotel. Better value staying off site. Disney needs to ditch the slow bus service and move into a real mass transit system. So much for Walt's dream of a futuristic world...

Cons: Pillows
Great resort. Using Disney buses to travel (included with resort stays) is by far the best way to experience Disney.

Great Resort! Fun for both kids and adults!

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: The fun themed and clean grounds! There was so much to see!
Cons: Give towels out at pool instead of everyone having to bring a room towel and ask housekeeping for additional towels.
Location: Art of Animation is only a 5 minute walk. So much fun to walk around and look at the Pop Century!
In the past we stayed a Moderate Disney Resort. It was nice but we decided to stay at a Budget Resort to save a little money. It was Equally as nice! The room was a bit smaller (no coffee maker and less hotel toiletries) but was absolutely fine and clean. Short bus ride to Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney. We felt the bus ride times were very comparable to the moderate resort. Food cost at Pop Century averaged out to $10 per person for us (mom, dad, 10 year-old) at every meal. We did not purchase the meal plan and therefore ate what would be a quick-service meal every time. We would definitely stay at the Pop Century again! It is a short walk from Pop Century to Art of Animation. We did not see the rooms at Art of Animation. Comparing the esthetics of Pop Century to Art of Animation, we prefer Pop Century.
