Very nice hotel...the I enjoyed walking by the lak

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: Pools and room were nice, parking lot is very close, the lake, the shuttle bus to Disney, arcade, gift shop, pool bar, and good food choices
Cons: The room is on the small side but perfect for 2 adults or even 2 adults with 2 small children
Location: There's everything to do in that area!!
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay there. Spent the day at the hotel and the next day took the shuttle to Disney.

Convenience in location, amenities and service

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: food court that is open up until midnight which is not available in all disney property.
Location: Location of this hotel is not far . There is a souvenir shop, a food court and an arcade which is very convenient for everybody.
We checked-in around 9 am and it was swift. They asked 2 contact details in case our room is ready and by noon i got a mail and it was ready earlier than i expected. Room was basic - only soap and shampoo and towels- no other amenities like cotton buds, etc.. thats okay . buses to the park were just outside so you save on transportation expenses when you stay in a disney property. Staff were courteous. i would love to come bacK again and would definitely recommend this to other families.

You get what you paid for

Stayed in Pop Century for 2 nights 19-20 April 2015 just to visit Disney theme park. In overall, it's an OK experience. PRO: in the disney area, free transport to and from airport, free shuttle to the theme park, good pool area for children and adult. CON: small motel-like room but it's ok if you spend most of the time outdoor.

Pop Century - A Hippy Dippy Step Back in Time

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: 1. Theme -- 2. Happy Staff 3. Transportation around Disney was easy.
Cons: Food in the dining area was "ok".. Better to eat somewhere else.
Location: Easy access to all of the Disney Entertainment complexes--- Bus system is great.
The Pop Century Hotel at Disney is a pleasant place to stay. The outdoor areas around the hotels are decorated with "stuff" from the various decades. It was fun to be reminded about things we haven't thought of for years and to be and all of the technology advancements of the decades. The rooms, though a bit small, are quite sufficient if you are planning on spending the days at the various Disney destinations. Thankfully, we didn't have any reason to spend extra time in the room so that worked out fine for us. We did have a shower drainage issue. We contacted the staff (2x) and they sent up a maintenance person to fix. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved but as it was our last night, we just "let it go".

Pop Century Resorts need a MAJOR cosmetic facelift and update !! It is very old and outdated. Needs to be cleaner too !!! I can see why its the cheapest resort of Disney's !! The cafeteria staff is VERY slow, we had to go eat at the next resort next door. Some of your cafeteria staff need a course on customer service, smile more or change jogs all together !

Great Value Hotel for Disney Visits

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Location and decoration for a Value Hotel
Cons: Internet Service
We used this hotel for two nights before a Disney Cruise, it was great for what we need it. Close to Disney, able to use the Disney Bus system and loaded with Disney Thematics for the young ones

Expected more from a Disney resort

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Staff was very friendly
Cons: Better alignment of prices with quality
Small room bathroom grout was moldy Food court was a chaotic mess Majority of items to choose from had a high sugar and high fat content with slim pickings for healthier meals. i
