Vacaciones de Semana Santa en Disney World

Posted Apr 17, 2015

Had a great stay here!

Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: Magical Express, easy check in/out, fridge in room, magic bands, wifi, bus service, sending purchases back to resort.
Cons: Would be nice to have refillable drink stations at more locations (rather than just the food court) - not sure if this is possible?
Location: In WDW, so lots and lots of things to do near by! Parks, Downtown Disney, amongst others. Buses from the resort to most of these places.
Was there for 7 nights. Experience started with the Magical Express from MCO to the hotel which was very easy to use. Check in was a breeze. Food court had plenty of options. Room was nice, clean, had a fridge and an iron - only lacking a kettle. Loved using the magic bands as it meant that the only thing I really needed to have with me whenever I left the room was my magic band (room key, park tickets, fast passes, charging to room, and photopass). The wifi was fast enough to use Skype. Bus service was quite good - never waited more than 20 minutes for a bus (and this was only because I had just missed a bus). Loved being able to send purchases to the hotel - they were available for pick up from the gift shop (which was open from 6am to midnight). Could get late check out with no issues. Check out again was a breeze - just had to pack all my stuff and leave the room, no need to stop at the front desk or anything (my card was billed automatically for my room charges). Magical Express back to MCO was easy to use. Only issue is that the resort is huge, which meant that my room (non-preferred) was a good distance away from the bus stop and the food court. It was manageable but meant that it took a little while to get to/from the food court to get refillable drinks and to walk to/from the bus stop to get to the parks. All in all a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

It's a Disney World Resort!

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Pricing, nice outdoor pools, clean rooms, shuttles to theme parks and airport.
Cons: Room could be larger, but then again I didn't go here to stay in a hotel room.
Location: Disney World
I was not aware of just how far the airport (Orlando International) was from Disney World, so the first big positive was the free airport shuttle to the hotel. Decent hotel, small but clean rooms. The only problem I had was at check-in as I had made reservations through Expedia for 6 people in 2 rooms. Expedia gave only my name - and twice, once for each room. In order to get the Disney Bands I had to have the person behind the counter manually add each person - a process that took 30 minutes! However, this was made up for when my son lost his band and the people at the registration desk quickly fixed him up with a new band at no cost. I was definitely happy that we stayed onsite within Disney. Buses took us to where we needed and took us back after long exhausting days of fun at the theme parks. Also the convenience of having meals available (fast food style) was needed when there was no energy to go elsewhere.

Pros: Staff friendly, polite and knowledgable
Cons: Room conditions
Hotel was ok but if it rained for several days in a row- ouch. Room small, dark and possibly in need of a facelift.

Good enough

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Friendly and efficient staff. Very clean and orderly.
Cons: The food court (and Disneyworld parks) needs more options and more efficient ordering systems. Coffeemakers should be provided in the rooms.
Location: The location is good and the bus system works well.
Every one of the staff was friendly, helpful, patient and efficient. The rooms are a bit worn and shabby, but clean. The food court does not have enough options, and one must stand in more than one line to order from more than one station, and again to pay. People who are not guests can ride the Disney buses, and a group of four made me feel uneasy on one trip back to the hotel.

Disney priced correctly yet no loss of the magic

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Price, layout, pool
Cons: nothing
Pop Century without a doubt provides for the best bang for your buck. There are more beautiful sites on Disney property but none give back as much for what you paid.

A fun place for the kids

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: The bold design and all the pools.
Cons: The rooms could be a little bigger.
Location: The bus to take you to all the parks is just steps away,
The kids loved the swimming pools. The whole place is big and bright and happy.
