Gr8 resort close to hourglass lakePosted Mar 11, 2014
Awesome resort! Gr8 food, with good (although limited) options for pure vegetarians. Loved th warm water pool and the poolside bar for an occasional drink. Also thoroughly enjoyed th calm and peaceful evening walks by the hourglass lake, away from the noise n thrill that filled the day at the theme parks. Range of activities to keep th kids busy, including movies. Would definitely recommend for someone visiting with family with a moderate budget.

Good valuePosted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: The ground were fun and although we did not use the pools, they were big
Cons: Put coffee makers in the room
Location: We spent all of our time at the parks
The rooms are clean. Very similar to your typical Holiday Inn room but why pay more if all you do is sleep and shower there. Most of your time is in the park.

Disney and Pop CenturyPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Clean. Nice path around a lake for walking.
Location: Pool at every hotel. All the Disney attractions
Very enjoyable. Nice hotel. Convenient transportation to the parks. Only thing I did not appreciate was the LOUD music in the dining area.

Not bad but not great... just OKPosted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: Disney amenities - extra magic hours, fast passes online and in advance, magic bands were a lot easier than dealing with a card, charging to the room
Cons: Beds more comfortable, walls thicker, some sort of mat on the sidewalks so that you don't hear the rolling luggage all night....
Location: Location is very far from all the parks - takes a good 20/30 minutes to get there. Although close to ESPN which was great when we went to Braves game
Decent accommodations and by far the cheapest way to stay "On Property" at Disney!! Hotel was cute, but like others have said it is basically a dressed up Motel 6. Beds weren't comfortable, although after a day at the parks I could have slept on anything! But the worst part is that it was SOOOO noisy. And this is from someone with 2 kids! All hours of the night we could hear kids running around and screaming, as well as rolling luggage. I guess a lot of people are taking red-eye flights.... I have NEVER heard so many pieces of rolling luggage during the night! And EVERY night (we were there for a week). I don't think I would stay there again, just because my husband and I got pretty cranky without a good nights sleep. And we ended up spending a fortune anyway! We had a nice vacation but if I were to do it again, I would think long and hard about staying off property in a better hotel. It is hard to pass up the Disney amenities (extra magic hours and getting fast passes in advance - the lines looked like a hassle) but it just might be worth it to have a better night's sleep each night!!! I must add that the staff were amazingly nice and helpful, though!

Decent hotel for conveniencePosted Mar 7, 2014
The resort itself was nice enough, especially if you will be spending most of your time at the parks. The staff, however, was not very accommodating. When we arrived at our room, I opened the door to find someone already in that room sitting on the bed. They helped to fix that problem but not very urgently. We also reserved a room with a king size bed but were assigned a room with 2 doubles instead. They blamed that on Expedia saying that it wasn't even in their computer to give us a king size bed. They were unable to move us as they had no empty rooms. Overall, the experience was fine but we'll probably not choose that resort again.

Patty & Judy Epcot ExperiencePosted Mar 7, 2014
Great Experience. Nice hotel with affordable price. Clean, easy to find, friendly people, many families. If you don't like children's laughter stay away.

10am is not 11am!Posted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Location, friendly staff, clean room.
Cons: Beds are too hard. Cleaning staff work off a different checkout list than the front desk.
Location: Hollywood Studios, The Boardwalk area, Epcot and Fantasia Gardens, Art and Animation
Pop is a large resort. If you do not have a car, be sure to get a room near the lobby. Of the 4 true value resorts, it is the newest and nicest. Its tacky icons all over property are ugly, but they some how work. The best part of the Pop is location. You are a couple minutes from Hollywood Studios, The Boardwalk area, Epcot and Fantasia Gardens. You are also across a short bridge from Art and Animation (Disney's Deluxe Value resort). Why is this important? It runs between $50 and $100 more than Pop, but you can take advantage of the property (minus the pools and the larger rooms). If you are a part of 2 or 3, Pop is perfect. If you have 4 or 5, Art of Animation may be the better choice. 2 complaints. The beds and pillows are hard as a rock. And even thought we had express checkout (which allows for an 11am check out) with a confirmation via the room phone and my cell phone, the made staff knocked on the door every 15 minutes until we finally hurried up and left. They insisted that there was no 11am check out. Also, Expedia showed it as a King bed, but only a few kings are available, all of which are in handicap accessible rooms. We ended up with 2 full size beds.

The pool was close & very nice.Posted Mar 6, 2014
Pros: It seemed fairly new, staff & housekeeping were great, pool was close & heated, & it was quiet at night.
Cons: Put a coffee pot in the room.
Location: We went off Disney to eat most of the time & restaurants were close; about a 10 min. drive.
The room was a bit of a distance from where you caught the Disney buses & from the main building, but I was most disappointed that there was no coffee pot in the room. there was a fridge & that was nice.
