Great hotel close to Disney Parks!!!!Posted Jul 26, 2014
This is most definitely the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating, very helpful if we had any questions, and were an all around 10. :) The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were picturesque, very elegant. My kids loved the pool with the waterslide, and they thought the Mardi gras theme was very cool. I would definitely stay here again.

room at French quartersPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: my kids had a blast and want to come back again
Cons: the frig
Location: Disney world
everything was excellent , except that the frig didn't work and lost our food that we had brought. said something to front desk and upon leaving and said they'll have to get that fixed.... so hopefully got fixed so the next people don't go threw what I did. thought they would of credited or gave me some voucher for food/or services on location. guess they want you to spend your money on their food. burger, fries and a coke there 15 bucks. get expensive with two kids and father n law. besides that Id would stay again thanks mike bowman

New Orleans themePosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Pool area was nice. The lava smoothie was very tasty. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very nice.
Cons: Have a more restaurants in the area. More reasonable prices on food.
Location: there are numerous theme parks to enjoy and places to shop. Many restaurants to choose.
We had a very nice room. I would of preferred the first floor. It would of been nice to have a cart to load our luggage on. It was a long walk from the parking lot to our room. People were not smoking in the designated areas. Pool music was a little bit to loud. We had a great time overall.

Quaint rooms/not too busy/small room w/ thin wallsPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff after we were inside/Asked for extra towels and they were delivered promptly and plentiful/Mickey ear towel display upon arrival
Cons: Better explanation of "unlimited refill cup" to guests before purchasing/Maybe a Tiana related photo or statue to accentuate French Quarter theme
Location: Further from Disney Parks than initially thought- only 1 restaurant to choose from on Resort-Downtown Disney area is 15 minute drive, but so worth it
Upon arrival, there were 5 or so employees standing outside, but no one greeted us or offered to help us with bags-no acknowledgement at all. Not welcoming- I actually questioned my husband whether we were at the main entrance of the correct Resort. Check in was quick and friendly. Room was small-smaller than any online picture had let on-2 beds only separated by a nightstand~ one bed was almost to the wall and the other was only inches away from a wide open door. Just enough room at the foot of the bed for one person to walk by at a time. Walls were so thin that we could hear the toilet flush/shower turn on and off next door to us. Rooms were not anywhere near our expectations. The Resort is not too busy, so if that is how all the Resorts are, I am glad we stayed at a less busy resort so there was not too much outside noise. Riding to/from Disney Parks was a hike- I didn't realize how far the Resort was from the entrances to Disney Parks. Breakfast staff was polite- breakfast options were limited, but good. I wasn't sure about the "Disney cup"- the sign by the souvenir cup only stated the price and unlimited refills by amount of days paid. I asked a staff member about details, she said "yes- you refill all day!" Great, I had all 4 of my party grab one! Checkout cashier rang us up and we paid. I asked if there were a lot of places to refill at Parks- she said the cups weren't refillable at Parks, only at resort. Well, that would have been good info BEFORE paying.

Family FunPosted Jul 11, 2014
Had 3 rooms, two were adjoining and our Grandkids enjoyed access to Gpaw and Nana! Rooms faced pool, garden! Food was tasty though a bit pricey! Bus travel was easy and often New electronic wrist bands were great!

Great for adults tooPosted Jul 5, 2014
The boat to downtown Disney was a great perk. It was family oriented but subdued enough for adults. Very relaxing.

A little bit small room but clean. Hotel staff are friendly. Airline check-in is really convenient. Need more restaurants rather than food court.
