Cons: Golf cart to far rooms at checkin.
Quaint hotel. Very helpful staff. Very sprawling if small kids at night, far from lobby if in distant buildings.

Beautiful and quietPosted Nov 22, 2014
The hotel grounds are beautiful. It was nice to be able to take our daughters for nice relaxing walks along the river after a long day in the parks. The royal rooms are beautiful and our daughters loved all the little details. Everything was very clean and beds were comfortable. Boatwright's dining hall has great food and the cafeteria conveniently has a tv tuned to the Disney channel which helped our fidgety toddlers await their food. We really enjoyed our stay here. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very nice hotel, large property! Takes a little bit of time to get between the parks! Can't go wrong with this hotel, very comfortable all around!

Alligator Bayou at Port OrleansPosted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Different buildings were used by the hotel to house the guests and they were separate from the main building with registration and dining elsewhere.
Cons: I think a map of the site at Port Orleans would assist in getting around and maybe knowing when a car was needed and when it was a walking distance.
The staff made us very comfortable and met our needs for directions and other requests. While our room was comfortable the dining facility required that we use our car to get to the restaurant and that was inconvenient in the day of needing to return to our room prior to going to Disney Park. It was a beautiful setting though and provided privacy during our stay.

Elegant and warm.Posted Nov 15, 2014
Pros: I enjoyed all the facilities provided by this hotel and all it's accessories were intact and working.
Cons: I am thinking about this question too long...........so no sense in making one up.
Location: Well the transportation to anywhere is one of it's best assets, so getting to and from any place around the hotel is easy. Things to do are many.
I just found everything with my stay in Riverside close to my best dream. Too many hotels don't meet my standards. I felt like I should walk around in a suit instead of casual. A lot of thought went into this hotel and that's why I am impressed. When ever I stay at any other hotel, I will compare it to this one. ..............Stephen J.

Quiet propertyPosted Nov 12, 2014
Liked the property but it is a long walk to the food court deoending on what building you were in. You have to take a bus or drive to Port Orleans to get the beignets. They have gluten free ones and my husband was happy about that! It.

2nd time just as great as the 1stPosted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Great location, easy to get to and from the airport as well as all of the parks and Downtown Disney.
Cons: Cannot think of anything.
Location: Close to the airport-20 minutes by Magical Bus with stops. Close to Downtown Disney-Less than 15 minutes by boat, Epcot and Magic Kingdom-15 min.
My husband and I had the opportunity to travel to Orlando for a business/leisure vacation in November 2014. We had been fortunate to visit Orlando in 2013 and stayed at the Port of Orleans Riverside. We had such a great stay the first time & wanted to stay again on this visit. We were lucky to find a great deal on Expedia & booked our stay for 3 nights. We love this hotel because it is very convenient and easy to get to and from the airport as well as to Downtown Disney and the parks. My husband was already there upon my arrival and checked into the hotel. He requested a Magnolia Bend room as we had stayed in one the last time and loved the room and the location. We were in luck because a room was available. I took the Magical Express from the airport and it was a quick, easy and comfortable ride. We took the boat to Downtown Disney twice and both times we had limited waiting times. The boat drivers are very courteous and friendly. The bus to both Epcot and to The Magic Kingdom had very little wait times and were very easy to take. We ate breakfast in the dining hall and it was great both days. The Mickey waffles and the cinnamon buns are delicious and worth a try. We went to the dining hall early so there was never a big crowd and we always found a seat very easily. We had some questions for the front desk and our interaction was pleasant and we got the answers we were seeking. We will definitely plan to stay at the Port of Orleans Riverside on our next visit.
