細部にディズニーのこだわりのある素敵なホテル

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: EPCOT

Great Staff...average hotel

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: Quality of staff, the pool and pool bar.
Cons: Need a 24 hours café or something.
Location: great location
You can't fault Disney for the quality of their staff...friendly, efficient and very helpful. You also can't fault Disney for the maintenance of the property and surrounding areas...it's immaculate. I would have preferred if they had a 24 hour café / mart so people who flew in from a foreign time zone and are waking up at odd hours can get a coffee or something. I think the hotel needs a bit of upgrading too as the rooms look a bit tired.

Beautiful Hotel - Highly Recommend

Posted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Staff, great food at the restaurants - both roaring fork and whispering canyon, convenience to Magic Kingdom and fabulous theming.
Cons: Pool could be open later. Closed at 10:00 p.m.
Location: Great access to Magic Kingdom, Contemporary and the monorail.
This hotel has beautiful theming - every detail is exquisite to the lighting fixtures with buffaloes, bears, etc. to the characters on the tile in the shower. Beds were extremely comfortable with carved wooden headboard and animal carvings on the posts. Very quiet rooms. Just wonderful. Transportation to Magic Kingdom and Contemporary very convenient by boat.

The resort is old, but reasonably well maintained. Most staffs are friendly and helpful. We had loose tap that leaked, though not bad.

Great for families & easy access to Magic Kingdom

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Our courtyard view room, the bunkbeds, our view of the lake, the service, fantastic housekeeping, etc.
Cons: Luggage delivery from the airport by Magical Express took 8 hours rather than the 3 hours mentioned in their literature.
Location: Easy access to Magic Kingdom by bus or water taxi. Should see the Hoop-Dee-Doo Music Revue at Fort Wilderness, it's a LOT of fun.
Beautiful hotel! Lobby is stunning. Very strong and well done National Parks theme. Service is very good. 6th floor court yard view rooms have nice views of pool and Lake Buena Vista. Pool is really nice and clean. Restaurants are all good. Artist Point was our favorite.

Missing some magic in the Woods

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: It's good that it's off the beaten path, our room had a partial view of the fireworks from Magic Kingdom.
Cons: Room furniture is really dated.
Location: Hotel is off the beaten path, but Disney has transport to get you anywhere in the property for attractions and it is fairly reliable.
Have stayed at this location in the past. The "Disney" service seemed to be just a bit off from past visits. Overall the visit was just OK. Nothing to really rave about. The hotel was undergoing exterior cleaning and repair. Lots of staging erected to facilitate. Concierge wasn't knowledgeable on to to best get to the Grand Floridian for a Spa treatment using Disney transportation. Meal at Artist Point was spot on, but would recommend skipping the dessert. It really missed the mark. First time with the Magic Bands, but wasn't able to get them properly aligned with the App for FP+. Still a brilliant concept. Rooms are starting to feel dated. Lighting is really poor in bathroom especially.

Lovely, atmospheric hotel.

We (family of 4, with children 8 and 6) loved this hotel. It looks amazing as you walk into the lobby - a huge wooden atrium with giant totem poles and a bridge over a water feature. The room was really comfortable and the swimming pool was fab. Only thing to be aware of is that food is pricey - but not unexpected in a Disney hotel.

Pros: Impressive building and grounds. Great lobby.
The bus system to this place is terrible. We wasted hours getting to and from the parks. The beds were uncomfortable, the slider door was scraping, and the connecting room door was very difficult to open. The Artist Point restaurant was way over-priced.
