Nice, well kept hotelPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff
Beautiful hotel, close to Magic Kingdom. Friendly staff. Loved the fact that we could take the boat to Magic Kingdom. Liked that there were shuttles to every location in Disney.

Magical MemoriesPosted Mar 2, 2014
Great location - both buses to parks and boat to Magical Kingdom very convenient. Could see much of Magic Kingdom fireworks from beach. Loved the movies on the beach and the marshmallow roast before the movie. Cafeteria type restaurant had good options (liked the salad) although a little inefficient with their service. We LOVED that every day the cleaning staff left for us an animal sculpture made from towels. Front desk staff were at times a little quirky but always helpful. Good to pre-set up Disney account on-line. Bus service from airport to hotel was very convenient.

Great Hotel but plan for food!!!Posted Mar 2, 2014
great hotel. heated pool with a small waterside the young ones enjoyed. Geiser outside, beach, boats, bikes etc.... just thought the food at the walk in order at the counter restaurant was yucky. that was disappointing because we did not have reservations at the hotel restaurants so we were SOL when it came to a good meal. make dinner reservations and you'll be golden.

Weekend delightPosted Feb 17, 2014
First time at a Disney Resort , would definetly be back! Convenience and just the aura of being at a Disney Resort is worth it! Very reasonable and staff is great! , we forgot our ipad and they called the next day to tell us and we were able to pick it up before our return home .

Excellent facilityPosted Feb 17, 2014
Cons: Seating in the main dining room was not available until 9:15 on a Friday night.
Location: Great location - very close to Disney World.
The hotel had everything we needed - a short trip to Disney World via boat, a pool with a slide that was a big hit with my 10-year old, a game room, etc. We had a great experience.

Concise Service that met all of our needs.Posted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: The detail put into the construction and the warmness of the employees.
Location: Not sure what you want here. We came here specifically for Disney.
We arrived early and a room was ready, a pleasant surprise. Had a late night snack and breakfast the next day, both of which were very good. No wait time at all. Our check out was extremely effortless. thank you at the Wilderness Lodge

Great for children, Best fine dining dinnerPosted Feb 7, 2014
Pros: Artist Point dining room - best dinner ever. Pacific Northwest food, great wine list, good service. Great beds, good linens & pillows
Cons: Whispering Canyon Cafe: loose the call for the ketchup hillbilly stick. Very annoying and noisy. Good food & service. Update staff uniforms.
Location: Close to Disney World and Parks.
Overall a great hotel. Close to park with boat or bus to Disney World. Good size rooms, comfy beds, linen and pillows. We were facing the pool area. Lots of light in the room.Decor just okay, could use a fresh look. Lovely pool area for families, great beach area, a nightly light/music display on boats passing in front of the beach area was delightful for the kiddies. Best fine dining dinner on the whole trip at the Artist Point restaurant. Pacific Northwest food cooked to perfection and great wine list. Only down side was the Whispering Canyon Cafe had good food but the call for the ketchup and the hillbilly stick, very noisy and annoying.

Beautiful hotelPosted Jan 27, 2014
We enjoyed taking a boat to the Magic Kingdom. Extra magic hours are a plus with Disney Resorts. The rooms are comfortable with extra Disney design touches. It had a lodge feeling like Montana yet you were minutes away from Disneyworld!
