Nice hotel good location nice views.

Posted Oct 25, 2014
Pros: Good location and very nice views of the surrounding boardwalk, lake and adjacent hotels. The swimming pools were very well laid out and were great.
Cons: Redecoration of the rooms needs to be considered in the near future.
Location: Location was perfect for me as I prefer to me within easy reach of Epcot plus Hollywood Studios.
I found it to be within walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood studios or I could take a boat ride to them on the lake at the rear of the Hotel which was very easy. It was easy to get a shuttle bus to Animal kingdom or Magic kingdom from front of the Hotel. Restaurants within the hotel and adjoining hotels were very good plus around the lake on the board walk there were shops or restaurants which were also very good. I also found that I would sometimes go into some of the restaurants in Epcot in the evening.

Great pool and restaurants

Pool was awesome. Decent room but nothing special. Great proximity to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Recommend restaurants: Yachtsman, Captains Grille, Beaches and Cream.

LOVED LOVED LOVED the Yacht Club!

Posted Sep 8, 2014
We never had to use our car and could take a boat to and from Epcot for free! It also goes to Hollywood studios! Lots of great places to eat and see on the Boardwalk and the hotel had amazing staff! I would love to go back here again soon!

location is great

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: Staff(cast members) and food were great.....nice atmosphere outside, and plenty to do.
Cons: Clean or remodel the rooms!
Location: It's Disney...everyone knows no lack of stuff to do
Have stayed at Disney 19 times with no problems. Had always wanted to stay at the Yacht club after so many stays at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. The first room we had was filthy, with a dated and dirty bathroom, dried soda on the wall, and a dirt and slippery balcony(who knows why) along with other problems and screaming people next door t 1 a.m. We changed rooms and the 2nd room was better. On a luxury scale, would rate this room a dump. If I found it on the NJ Turnpike, would say it was very nice. Employees and food were great.

Yacht Club Vacation

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, quiet comfort and accessibility to the parks
Location: The location is close to the major parks and if you decide to rent a car (convenient) the International Shopping Mall is only 1/2 hour away
The Yacht Club resort is always a pleasure to stay at with my family...the resort is close to 2 of the major parks, actually within walking distance, the staff are extremely helpful and courteous, and the facility immaculate. The Yacht Club for older children (adults) is a bit less busy that the Beach Club though the Beach Club is also available for its amenities when you stay at the Yacht Club. For a quiet time swimming or sun tanning , the Admirals pool is the place to go. The new wrist band is very convenient for access and purchases within the Disney facilities.

Nice, but you're paying for Epcot proximity

Posted Jul 26, 2014
Pros: The grounds are beautiful. The staff is wonderful.
Cons: Guest rooms need to be updated. The door handles were well worn and the mattresses should be replaced. The toilet had an inch clearance from the door.
Location: Location was fantastic to Epcot and Boardwalk. Loved the running loop as well.
We've stayed at Disney Wilderness House and Animal Kingdom Lodge. This hotel does not compare to the others mentioned. It doesn't have the dining set up the others do. The rooms are dated. I didn't feel like the Yacht Club has the Disney "magic" the others had. The proximity to Epcot and the Boardwalk, however, is wonderful. That is truly what you're paying for. Overall a lovely, hotel but not as fun and much more subdued compared to some of the other luxury resorts Disney offers.

Convenient for Epcot, great pool.

Posted Jul 24, 2014
Pros: The rooms are cool, well equipped and comfortable. It is a relaxing disney resort.
Cons: It was nearly impossible to get into beaches and cream to eat and they should take more walk ins. The host is not always terribly friendly about it.
Location: Near Epcot but a good bus service everywhere in Disney.
We have stayed here twice in the past 6 years and it has been excellent both times. The pool is both relaxing and fun with a sandy bottom, lazy river and volleyball. There is also a waterside. It is also only a 5 minute walk to epcot which is great if you have dining reservations there in the evening. Ice creams from beaches and cream are yummy!
