Wonderful pools and family areas. The location is perfect for Epcot and Holywood Studios. The rooms and resort are beautiful and well maintained. All of the rooms have balcony views and are decorated nicely. This is our favorite Disney resort!

Elegant and comfortable.

Pros: Location is hard to beat. Lots of places to relax. Pool is excellent.
Cons: Nothing worth mentioning.
Location: Lots of activities. Fine restaurants nearby. Pool is one of the best at WDW.
We loved our stay. The location is great. Walking distance to Epcot and the Studios. The Yacht Club has a simple elegance about it. But it also feels very comfortable. Like a place you have been to before. Will go back again.

Best location for Epcot visit

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: The location and the facilities and settings.
Cons: Maybe not be so expensive.
Absolutely love all the hotels on this part of the Disney property. The Yacht club is beautiful and is lovely to stay at even not going to Disney. But it has a nice back entrance to Epcot that many don't know about. Much easier to go through the main gate.

The Yacht club is a beautiful resort with great accomodations. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The location of my room was dreadful with a horrible view of a swamp so if you book there let them know in advance you dont want the swamp view.

Great and very upscale. Would reccommend it to families that are rich and want to get away from the lower class

Unsatisfactory Stay

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Bathrooms were large.
Cons: Wi-fi speed was extremely slow.
Location: Location to other restaurants was within a normal range.
Was extremely disappointed in our stay. Too many personal questions were required at check-in. Decking around pool (adult) did not have cool decking, which then burned the soles of our feet. Adult pool had young children, whereas sign stated under 12 needed supervision. Price was very high considering no continental breakfast.

good Disney location

Posted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: location, that it is a Disney property which allows extra magic hours
Cons: When you book with Expedia the reservation doesn't flow into the Disney vacation package and I had to call Expedia to get the Disney reservation #
hotel location is ideal for walking to EPCOT and either walking or taking a boat to Hollywood Studios. Room is comfortable but simple.

Comfy rooms - friendly staff.

Posted May 4, 2014
Pros: The grounds were beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable.
Cons: I would suggest that the check-in staff tell everyone when they arrive at the hotel that they need reservations to eat in any of the hotel restaurants
My adult son and I stayed at the Disney Yacht Club - the staff were pleasant and the room was very nice. From our balcony we could see the nightly fireworks. Only negative was no one told us you had to have reservations to eat at ANY of the hotels on the grounds. We were starving after a full day at Magic Kingdom and wanted something nicer than hot dogs or chicken sandwiches. We wanted to eat at the Yachtman Steak house in the hotel, but could not get reservations until late at night. If anyone had told us when we checked in that you needed reservations, we would have made them in the morning, or the night before. The 2 queen beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable.

Pros: Location and staff and boat service go Epcot and Disney Studios
Cons: The shop to sell food sundries in line with the Beach Clubs Marketplace.
Location: The Boardwalk is a very short walk and makes a pleasant stroll as is Epcot.
Lovely hotel with excellent, helpful staff. Perfect location near Epcot, The Boardwalk and Disney Studios. Only downside was that our room was a long, long way from the elevator and it was quite a walk to the Beach Clubs Marketplace to buy sundries. Overall I would definitely stay here again.
