“Not Impressed”
I was very much disappointed with their service. The room didn't even have a microwave oven. We got to know that we would be charged $10 per night if we request for one which I felt was totally unacceptable. I will definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. The people in the reception were not polite as well.
“Not impressed”
Train goes by the back of hotel at all hours waking you up... Rooms with stained carpets/ walls.. smell musty. Asked to have our room changed four times before we were able to move to another room. Valets were very careless, driving at high speeds (where people were walking by) and not careful with the vehicles. Best thing about the hotel is the location.
“Great location”
I love the hotel everything about the hotel. However I like to walk at night and the Occupy Wall Street Protestors have taken over the park across the street. Even walking across the street from the park you were yelled at and called names. Kinda of interesting that by staying at this hotel you were bad but they used the hotels facilities including the lobby computers and bathrooms. But the hotel was spotless and the staff made up for any inconvenience.
“Comfortable and Inviting”
I arrived late in the evening and check-in was quick and convenient. Fresh baked cookies presented a comforting welcome. Breakfast buffett was rather expensive ($16); otherwise I had a great stay.
“Excellent hotel close to downtown”
Not in the heart of downtown, but very close. Very nice accommodations and friendly staff that worked with several changes in plans with my stay. Prices were competitive to the rest of downtown I felt. The nearby train is a little loud but it didn't really ever bother me. Would highly recommend.
“"First Impression" everyone greeted us and my family and me loved the chocolate chip cookies!!”
The hotel was very clean and everyone answered our questions regarding where to eat and far away the activites we were looking for were. We loved the chocolate chip cookies when we arrived since we were very hungry. Overall I would definetly stay there again. The bed was very comfortable!
“GOT MY MONEY'S WORTH”
The hotel staff were all friendly and efficient and they made up for the hotel's multiple shortcomings-- outdated design (carpets, curtains), broken equipments (aircon panel, electrical outlets/switches) and inconvenient and expensive parking (it would greatly help if the garage elevator opens to the lobby and we would not have to go in and out of the main entrance everytime).. The best things about the hotel? the yummy cookie at the front desk... I got a very good deal on my booking and so i got my money's worth.. But had I paid the regular price, I would feel shortchanged.
“Good hotel but needs renovation”
The hotel itself was very nice and comfortable but there were a few thugs that irked me. Lets start with the positives though. Pros: Very clean. The rooms were exceptionally clean and room service does a fantastic job when they come in. Spacious. The rooms and bathroom were very spacious and this was a definite plus for me and my girl. Comfortable. The bed was comfy! I can not complain one bit about the bed. Fairly soundproof. You could hear loud people in the hallway and when guests closeby would ope and close their door but otherwise I didn't hear tv noise or other unwanted noise. Accommodating staff. The staff here are very accommodating and nice. I did not run into a single staff person that wasn't smiling or polite. Cons: Decor. The rooms have not had a proper carpet or wallpaper renovation since the 80s which was when this was probably built. The carpet had half a dozen pulls in it and the wallpaper looked horrendous. Definitely not modern. Parking. The hotel has limited parking on the street which was free, but otherwise you had to pay 15 a day to park yourself in the parking garage or 18 for valet service. For a Hilton hotel which touts "the little things mean everything" this should have been included. Grossly inflated food price. I expect that if a hotel is going to charge for room service that it would be rather pricey. That I will not argue. But going downstairs for breakfast was a total eye opener. Go to ihop if you want breakfast
“Great and cost efficient hotel to stay in”
Lovely lobby, very clean room, wonderfully comfortable bed, excellent surrounding area. I recommend and I would definitely stay again.
“Great Value!”
Very good value for Orlando. Good service. Quiet. Clean.
