Pros: I enjoyed the Hotel, staff and fitness room
Cons: The a/c. When I got into my room, it was around 300pm and the thermo stat was set at 60 however, it was more like 80. I reported it but never saw any1
.I need a Hotel downtown close to my appointment. The staff in the downstairs café's were great.

Double Tree Hilton Downtown

Cons: Hotel looked very worn. Paint by elevator outside needs to be redone. A tile was out of the bathroom floor. It just doesn't look clean and new.
Location: great location
The Hotel experience was ok but for the price of $200 for the one night's stay, it should have been much nicer. The hotel is "shop worn" and needs some attention. The staff was pleasant - enough. We came in late and left mid-morning so there was only contact with the check in person, who was friendly and efficient, and the maids who knocked at 9 am or so, and we told them we were not quite ready to check out at that time. When we checked out the next morning about 10:30 am, it took about five minutes and we were not given a receipt because they said we had booked through a third party - Expedia, and the hotel did not know the price being charged for the room for that night. I thought that was strange. I also felt the parking charge of $17 a night was high.

The room didn't have an "air conditioning" it had a air conditioner with 3 fan setting so the room was muggy and didn't cool off much. The sheets even felt moist. We asked for 2 extra pillows that never came. The bathroom was large but hardly any counter space. Lighting was not good and the closet was tiny w a very low rack couldn't hang clothes without them touching the floor. However the staff was friendly and polite. Paying for parking after paying over 180 per night. Unacceptable. Will not go back to this hotel if I have to stay in Orlando again. Not worth the money

Wedding stay

The hotel was in great location. Expected more from the Hilton. For price thought it was ridiculous that we had to pay $17 a day to park and if you did not want to do that could find a spot on street which was long walk and hard to find.

Hotel was nice. The staff not so much. There were not luggage carts available when I arrived at the hotel. I was traveling with small children and this was an inconvenience. The staff did not offer to assist me with my luggage. The check in clerk was not attentive or friendly. She was not accommodating. In fact, she delayed my check in and did not care that I had children with me. Overall, the hotel was OK, but the front desk staff was disappointing.

Location: centro de orlando
buena ubicacion,habitaciones limpias, camas y almohadas super comodas , wifi gratis ,starbucks en el lobby , gimnasio bastante equipado; y express check out lo malo es que nos cobraron el estacionamiento a 20 usd llegando al hotel un poco tarde con mucha hambre y ya estaba cerrado el restaurante tampoco no habia room service solo el bar que no ofrecia ni un sandwich por lo que nos dieron un folleto de un lugar externo para pedir comida rapida (horrible y cara)ya que como eran casi las 12 de la noche no ibamos a encontar nada abierto ; deberian de tener por lo menos room service para huespedes ademas de notificar al check in todos los servicios que ofrece el hotel .

Nice Getaway

Pros: The bed is very comfortable
Cons: The hotel is a little dated but very nice.
Location: Great location and near amazing restaurants.
This hotel is a great place to get away. Very peaceful and relaxing. Great location and close to get restaurants and theme parks. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and stay here again.

Good location, not as polished as expected

Location: We traveled to Orlando to visit family. The hotel was convenient.
This was our first stay. We normally stay at the Embassy Suites on Pine Street. Frankly, we chose the Double Tree because they have a favorable reputation and the special price was the draw. When we arrived, the bellman helped us with our luggage, but then abandoned us to take it up to our room. (I tipped him at curbside, my mistake.) Our room was nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the room was "pleasingly" clean, but not spotless. The bathroom was so disfunctional. There were no towel rods, or hooks to hang anything up. I don't enjoy having to put my towel on the floor and my wife used the provided robe, but again, it had to lay on the floor. The stopper in the small lavatory did not "seat" and hot water for shaving could not be maintained in it. A small wooden box mounted on the wall adjacent to the lavatory was insufficient for placing personal items, especially for two people. The door to the bathroom was damaged and would not open or close without effort. I will have to say that the special rate we received was plenty of compensation for the shortcomings. Finally, I don't understand hotel policies that charge guests to "self" park their vehicles at almost the same rate as valet parking. Yes, I would stay here, again, if a similar rate was available.

Clean the drapes! The drapes were filthy dirty. I thought all rooms these days had refrigerators and microwaves. These things would make this a much better hotel.
