“Embassy Suites in Downtown Orlando FL”

The hotel is very noisy. We could hear people in other rooms, people talking in the atrium and outside car noises and people running around late at night. We were not able to sleep well because of the noise.

Area recommendations

Did not care for the downtown area, very loud bars, Suitable for young people that like to be out late but not for people who would like a relaxed, pleasant experience.

“Fabulous downtown Orlando location convenient to everything.”

Excellent hotel that seems very well run in my opinion. The bed was the most comfortable I have slept in for a very long time. The rate seemed high at first glance but when you toss in the free cocktails every evening at the manager's reception between 5:30 and 7:30 and the daily breakfast buffet, it comes out just about right. The location is fabulous. We were there for the Fall Fiesta which draws thousands to Lake Eola. This hotel is the most conveniently located to the event area. Will definitely stay again.

Area recommendations

The entire downtown area is full of pubs and restaurants and all within three or four blocks of the hotel. The Thornton Park area is only a short walk also.

“Probably the best hotel in Orlando Downtown”

Area recommendations

The Church Street area is nice at nights. See the lake just 3min walk from the hotel. You may also wish to be a tourist, take pictures around the old train station on the Church street if you have a few hours to enjoy.

“Downtown Orlando Best Hotel”

Excellent breakfast, nice Happy Hour 5:30 to 7:30PM. The service was awesome. Simple the Best.

“Better than Expected”

I usually prefer boutique-style hotels and was a little leery about staying at this chain. The hotel was much better than I expected - clean, great location, huge rooms, etc. The best part was the breakfast - not at all a cheap, "continental" meal, but a full-on, hot breakfast buffet with made-to-order omlettes, etc. Great value!

“Great downtown location”

The Embassy Suites was very accommodating. The breakfast, which was included, was excellent. The choices were varied and the quality was very good. The "Happy Hour" provided by the hotel was such a great time to meet other travelers. The drinks were of excellent size and quality. This was an extra added quality touch. My only tip to those who stay is if you put your "Do Not Disturb" sign up until noon or so, you must tell the main desk when you are ready for your room to be serviced. If housekeeping passes you by, they will not come back unless you notify them before 4.

Area recommendations

The movie theatres that are downtown and close to the hotel were great. The surrounding restaurants were also quite good. Of course , if interested, the attractions are not a far trip. The outlets provided a day of savings and entertainment. The lake was picturesque and great for a walk or run.

“The best one so far!”

I have stayed at every other Embassy in Orlando except the downtown location. Your location was by far the best! It was beautiful and in the best location to walk to downtown. We will be staying there again!
