Older PropertyPosted Apr 17, 2014
Cons: The entire hotel needs improvements. One of the managers told me that the new company that purchased the property will start serious remodeling soon
Location: Near a great Outlet Mall, many restaurants and Sea World
Customer Service was good, so the location of the property. But the hotel is older and un-functional without basic amenities like room safes, etc. The staff was really pleasant

Room smelled bad!!Posted Apr 14, 2014
Cons: Clean the rooms better.
Our room smelled like smoke and mildew. We brought it to the staffs attention. They said they would give us a new room. Needless to say 4 days later and we were still in the same room as they kept giving us the run around. We had to go to the store and buy air fresheners and candles to help with the smell. Very disappointing for a family's first trip to Florida! I will say that the pool and pool area were very nice. The free snacks and drinks in the evening were nice as well. The beds were soft and comfortable. Which did help a little.

Convenient location; good value for moneyPosted Apr 9, 2014
Cons: Parking cost !
Very good location for Disney Parks and downtown Disney. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Excellent complementary breakfast! Expensive parking; unreasonably so! WHY?

Great location for all the parksPosted Apr 7, 2014
My family and I stayed here for 6 nights and we had a great time. The morning cook Ed is very funny and he's been at the hotel for many years. He makes the breakfast experience very enjoying. The room was comfortable and everything worked well.

Soggy carpet upon arrivalPosted Apr 5, 2014
When we checked in the room had soggy wet carpet near the window. We were promptly moved to a new room. The facilities were nice. I just felt we could hear doors banging shut a lot which was hard because we had a baby with us. I also felt the tv choices were extremely limited for the kids. That was disappointing. Loved breakfast and the pool area. Great kids pool...just wish it was heated like the big one.

i guess i was expecting morePosted Mar 19, 2014
i guess i was expecting more, I stayed here with my family so we can be closer to magic kingdom. Breakfast and an okay room with a decent pool. i ordered a pizza and few others stuff during the evening ,I actually went to pick it up so I can save the high service fee to the room plus high percentage tip.But to find out even if I came for the pizza and take it away there is a service fee for me to take it to my room. I thought that was pathetic. I had to stay there in the eating area to eat it. The hotel rooms in the back near the pools looks run down from the out side it needs some paint job. I felt I was staying in a old motel and did not get my value for what i paid for. I prefer to stay on international drive next time. this hotel is a bit of walking to restaurants in the neighborhood

Cons: Parking was a little confusing as i tryed to park whil my husband and kids checked in but you can not do that as you need a room key.
It was reasonably priced and had no issues during our stay.

Staff and services are what bring people back!Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: number one- STAFF the best. 2. the rooms were not that bad 3. breakfast and manager receptions were great.
Cons: updates to the decor...
Location: if you are not eating at the hotel, go to johnnies hideaway or go to sand lake rd and eat at moonfish! Cocoa beach is cool to go to coconuts!!
As i said, you can have the most beautiful facility but if the service is horrible, you wont be back. in this case though, everyone was helpful, courteous, and very friendly. Ed, the breakfast chef is great! Dee at the bar and all of the bar and waitstaff are very good and interact well with guests. we also met a newer manager that transferred in from north or south carolina. He really took his job serious, and before long i can see him managing at a higher level. as i said this place can use some updates but then again it is in the heart of disney world and it is gonna get a work out. but i can trade that off because of the breakfast, and the manager reception.
