Nice but out dated

Posted Apr 14, 2014
We stayed in the Jefferson suite which was really nice and very spacious. The only down sides to the room was the out dated decor and the bed was hard. The balcony was great and the view of Eola lake was awesome. Overall it was a good stay and a good price!

1st stay at Embassy Suites Orlando-Downtown

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: I liked almost everything about the hotel.
Cons: The smell of the room. It had a smoky odor and I requested a non-smoking room.
Location: Downtown, Orlando. It is close to a lot of things such as the Amway center (walking distance-7-10mins), restaurants, etc.
The hotel was beautiful and clean. The hotel is relatively close to shopping or attractions. The staff were friendly and pleasant. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Great view! The only drawback was that the room had a smoky (I asked for a nonsmoking room) odor. There was a wide variety of food for breakfast and it was tasty. Your car has to be valet parked:-( Nevertheless, the valet team were very helpful and knowledgeable. I would stay there again.

Great hotel close to the Amway Center.

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: The helpfulness of the staff, having a suite with all of the amenities that includes....beds and pillows were extra comfortable.
Cons: The pool needs a little work...
Location: Lots of restaurants, the Amway Center were the two that we found convenient to the hotel.
Welcomed by the staff, lots of help deciding on restaurants, safety of walking to the Amway Center (very safe!), great breakfast (made-to-order omelet!) We saw a show at the Amway Center and had our car valeted for the same price that it would have cost to drive to the Amway Center and park.

Noisy

Posted Mar 21, 2014
This property is located in party central. If you are out til 2:30AM it's no problem, but you need to be a deep sleeper to ignore the music and motorcycles that are seemingly right outside your room.

Very beautiful, clean and staff was accommodating

Posted Mar 9, 2014
Everything was great, the building was beautiful, the staff was very accommodating, the room was spacious and clean and the complimentary breakfast was great. The location was great and the overall scenery was lush and serene. I would definitely visit this hotel again. This was my second encounter at a embassy hotel and I would visit another Embassy in the future.

Very nice hotel in downtown Orlando.

Posted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: If your going to charge $21 per night for parking, put the cars in a covered area.
Location: Downtown Orlando
Very nice hotel in downtown Orlando near Lake Eola. We stayed 2 nights over the weekend in a suite. Our room was very clean and spacious. All of the staff was very nice, including the bartender Joe who went above and beyond! . We paid $21 per night for parking, appeared we didn't have a choice. Saw later that our car was parked outside next to a parking garage. Having our car covered would have been nicer. The "free" breakfast buffet was OK. They had a lot of items but most of the cooked items didn't taste all that great. Bacon and sausage good, egg station chef good. All in all it was a really nice weekend at the hotel.

Can't get closer to Lake Eola

Posted Feb 18, 2014
My goal was to get as close to Lake Eola as possible and this was the perfect location for that. Really decent breakfast included.
