Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only thing I saw wrong with the entire hotel was that the bathtub was a little dated. The room itself was very nice and comfortable. Very convenient location.

Needs update!Posted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: The staff.
Cons: Update the hotel and change up your breakfast every couple of days. The yogurt was the only thing that changed on the 6th day of our stay.
The hotel is in desperate need of updating! We stayed on the 6th floor and I'm pretty sure the hotel has original windows. The room had a really great surface clean but the walls were very dirty as was the furniture (had stains and tears) etc. The pool is also TINY!!!! The hotel staff was FANTASTIC!! Overall a great stay but definitely needs updating and a good deep clean! P.S. The free breakfast buffet got old on the third day of the same things.

Run down and dirtyPosted Apr 7, 2015
The hotel needs an update. Furniture and carpets are all worn out. A chair in our room had a huge stain and 1 blanket was obviously not laundered as it also had a fresh stain on it. It took a few hours to get a new blanket. The security guard doubled as the house keeping representative.

3/30/14-4/3/14 StayPosted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Location, Layout/floor plan, hotel staff friendly and courteous, and well kept pools. My husband and son loved the complimentary breakfast.
Cons: The complimentary shuttle service was late, overcrowded and uncomfortable. The outdoor pools was too cold. The room bed a bit hard no lights.
Location: Right off of International Drive loop and many restaurants, Pirates Cove mini - golf, Ripley's Believe It or Not and close to I-4 and Disney and other
Stayed at the Embassy Suites during this time period. Great weather and location within close proximity to many amenities and destinations (mini golf, attractions, food, shopping).

The door lock was not working and the front desk staff was not helping at all. Next day morning staff helped me to transfer to new room, where there was no such a problem.

an unusually disorganized Embassy SuitesPosted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: The inner patios were pretty (but very crowded at times). the staff were courteous.
Cons: The food. The organization (this is a big hotel in a tourist mecca....they should be prepared for their surges in services and weekend traffic.)
Location: There are lots of good restaurants and of course, Orlando theme parks and shopping relatively nearby.
On business travel, my colleague and I arrived on Saturday. The quality of the breakfast was very poor (unusual for an Embassy Suites) and that first breakfast (Sunday) there were hour waits for fresh-made eggs, watery sausage, no clean trays, no spoons and forks (the kitchen staff found me a plastic spoon kit) and watery coffee. During the less rushed week, the food got better but never good. Oatmeal was reliable. The wait for the valet was okay after the weekend. It took several tries to get a broken clock fixed in our room. The beds were very comfortable and clean but the suite felt and smelled worn. The water power in the showers was variable and took awhile to warm up. The concierges were friendly but not reliable on the information (at one point we were directed to a closed Kinko for printing services. Another one did well in suggesting a botanical garden.) The inner patios were pretty and well-cared for. So overall a very mixed bag of unusual poor areas for an embassy and good features.

Disappointed with the hotel. Expected more from Embassy Suites.
