Room was smelly, saw large cockroach on stove

The room was smelly, saw a very large cockroach in the stove and the toilet was not clean.

Great Front end Staff, Horrible Cleaners

I had an excellent time, the concierge service was very helpful. My husband and I stayed for 2 days and did not receive a clean room on the first day and had to go to the front desk for new towels! Even left a tip for housekeeping! Tip was gone yet no towels or toilet paper. Also our shower dripped all night long!!!!

there was a quarter roll of toilet paper and we had just gotten in one of the blankets was full of holes

Nice Hotel slightly close of the OCC

Cons: Clean room and bath
Location: Good for walking to the Orange County Center. 15min walking.
Room very comfortable but not really good cleanliness and no shampoo at bath. Overall, good.

Caution Hotel

Pros: There is a great little kitchen in the room. Can be a good family choice for meals. TV was a nice size. Room was quiet as can be for a hotel.
Cons: Management and staff needs better detail.
Location: Location is a reasonable drive to most attractions.
We prepaid for a two day stay at the hotel. On the second day we were charged for a extra day without our knowledge. Had to request a refund later. Requested a bad bath tub faucet leak repair at check in . Never happened, Had to close the bath door to sleep at night. Never had room service clean for the two days.The furnished one roll of toilet paper nearly ran out. Locked out of our room on the second night. Our two door lock cards would not open the room. Took three more issued lock cards to open the door that night. If you plan to use the Universal Studio shuttle keep in mind it is once a day there and back. This may or may not fit your park plans.

Nice hotel near SeaWorld

The hotel was overall clean. The room was well stocked. Enough room for a family of four. However the pool should be heated during the cooler months in order to get most use of it. Also the number of guest should be calculated daily in order to ensure a sufficient amount of breakfast food.

They could have done better job

As other people commented, the shower water kept dripping from day one and making noises. House keeping doesn't happen every day, not every other day. it's completely their call. the first time it was done after two days. the second time was after another 3 days. we stayed there totally 7 nights so there were totally 2 times of house keeping and cleaning. the trash in our room piled up and of course as you can imagine made bad smell. Since they don't do house keeping every day, of course the towels were not changed everyday. but then when you call the front desk asking for clean towels, they asked you to bring down your dirty towels and exchange them at the front desk. COME ON! I paid for other people to do that during our stay. If I do this do I get paid by the hotel?! It is not the busy season even. It's the beginning of March, not Christmas, not winter break, not spring break. If it were spring break, what will happen? ask the customers to do the house keeping themselves? LOL

Bed bugs and musty smell

We caught a bed bug in our bed within 30 minutes of arrival. The entire hotel smells musty. The pictures of the hotel are totally misleading because they look A LOT better than what the hotel actually looks like. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever been to in Orlando.

You get what you pay for!

I stayed here to visit universal it was an ok location. Hotel staff was nice the hotel itself looks nice from the outside I believe this hotel should be a little cheaper than what it was the rooms had an awful smell because of the old air conditioner installed in them smelled like a smokers room! the heat didn't work and the wifi is very poor! House keeping never came we stayed for 4 nights no fresh towels or anything! We booked the "deluxe" suite and there wasn't anything deluxe about it ! The furniture is very old fashion looks nothing like the pictures! And the bed is hard!! I recommend you bring your own towels and comforters because the bed had only thin sheets. It's not what I'm use to booking at all! However if your on a budget and going to universal and will only need somewhere to sleep book it!
