Fun for the familyPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: It's got personality. Plus the breakfast buffet is one of the best with plenty of choices.
Location: All the Disney and Universal parks are close by.
Two adults, a 12-yr old and a 14-yr old, we all had a great time. We made this a quick weekend getaway as we live only an hour and a half away. The kids and us had a blast playing in the pool and going down the slides.

We went to this hotel for a romantic weekend get away, it was beautiful. We spent hours walking around enjoying the landscape and the amenities. Would be back in a heart beat.

Excellent Hotel. Perfect locationPosted Jun 9, 2014
Cons: Can't think of anything to improve.
Location: Did not have time this trip to check out the local attractions, but the resort appeared to be centrally located.
After staying in a roach infected motel the last time I visited my folks in Central Florida, I decided to upgrade to a better place. The Gaylord Palms was everything the pictures showed at the website and more. Everything about the place was perfect. The staff, the facilities and the room were all perfect. I was able to rest without nary a noise from anywhere. I would stay at this resort every time I visit the area.

Lovely property, good location!Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: The Atrium was a beautiful and unique feature.
Cons: Main pool could be larger. It was small and crowded, and it wasn't very deep, I guess to cater to the children.
Location: Very well located to Disney World and O Town.
Check in was very efficient, however upon arrival to my room, the room was not ready for check in. The room was vacant with the bedding on the floor. Looked like housekeeping forgot about it midway through. Called guest services and they moved us to another room, but we had to wait about 15 minutes in the unmade room for the new keys to arrive. Later, I called guest services for some toiletries and waited for more than a half hour. Turns out they had left them at the door, but did not knock or notify us in any way, so how was I to know they had arrived? Strange practice... Main pool was a bit small for my taste and adult pool was very ordinary. On the upside, the property was beautiful and well kept, beds were comfy, and very close to Disney World and Irlo Bronson Hwy.
