Close to Disney, roomey room. Nice pool n hot tub.Posted Mar 3, 2014
Very nice. Very close to Disney. Roads very busy though, long red lights on roads by hotel. Very spacious room. Nice pool and hot tub. Some of the buildings exteriors could be cleaned or the green mold starting to form on walls. Overall, pleasurable stay. Would highly recommend. All requests to front desk met right away, ie for new towels, more blankets, etc.

NIGHTMAREPosted Mar 3, 2014
After an hour and a half of waiting for my room (mind you, with 3 kids), they gave me a key and sent me to a room that was already occupied by a family. How not only embarrassing for me to intrude on their privacy, but it was embarrassing for them as well. Not to mention, had they not been in there and I wasn't an honest person, someone could have taken all of their valuables. I called the front desk from their room, and like it was no big deal to them, they just gave me a new key and moved me to the room next door; no apologies or anything. The room itself seemed very 'old' and not up to date. The bed was very uncomfortable and hard as well. I will say though, they had many things going on throughout the day to keep children busy, which was great. But overall, I would not be making another visit there. It truly was a complete nightmare.

Pros: Location (across the street from the entrance to the Disney complex)
Cons: Room cleaning services during the stay. Vending machines.
Location: Well located.
The hotel is a time share property. It does not have room service or cleaning service. Our unit had a small kitchen that had no window, so it was a bit dark. The bedroom was OK, but a bit small considering the size of the bathroom (unnecessarily huge). There wasn't one vending machine in the entire property, making everybody dependent on the little store inside the hotel for a soda or a snack (and limited to the store hours). We got a great discount on Expedia and for the amount we paid, it was worthy. But for the full price (as I found out when I needed an extra night), there are better hotels in the area.

Clean room. Decent location to downtown DisneyPosted Mar 1, 2014
Initially given a room facing parking lot, requested a change and they accommodated. Overall clean room with kitchenette amenities. Room was cramped, little natural sunlight. Other rooms in the complex appeared to have windows which would have been better.

Nice hotel, close to DisneyPosted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: I enjoyed most the atmosphere there. Everything seems so peaceful, friendly. A perfect place to rest!
Cons: I would improve a minimal point at the bathroom: it does not have an indication on the shower of hot water and cold water, so we had to guess.
Location: Disneyland, Walmart, Restaurants, Gift Shops, Gas Station, Outlets.
I have great time at Grande Villas Resort. I enjoyed hotel facilities and atmosphere there. Room confortable, cleaned and quiet!

Good pricePosted Feb 24, 2014
We stayed here to visit Disney World. The Hotel was perfectly fine considering we spent almost no time in our room. The kitchen worked out perfectly. If we wanted to spend more money, and/or we planned on spending more time at the resort, then we would have booked in at a Disney resort instead. The perks of staying at Disney are well worth it. But we had no problems during our stay and the people working there were great.

Great roomsPosted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: Loved the room sizes!!
Cons: Would train the staff to be more knowledgeable about what's being charged and explaining it to the costumer, Improve customer service, better parking.
Location: Walking distance to a deli, food and some shopping. Driving to Downtown Disney.
The rooms were very clean (except for two burned iron stains in the master bedroom). Plenty of room for a family with kids. Everything you need is there. The bad part was the parking conditions. It was horrible! Not many ramps for handicapp or to bring in your luggage . If you come back late from sight seeing, good luck even finding a parking close to your building. I had to park two buildings away. The lighting in the lot was terrible for us ( my daughter and me). I saw no security patrolling the lot in any of the days I stayed. Some staff were pleasant others could care less. Don't like the hounding sales pitch before going to your rooms and constant call to buy their package for next visit before you even try their suites. Also at the time of my check out there was an additional fee they did not charge me when I checked in. I asked why was it not included at the time I checked in? They just said prices had changed and they miscalculated. They could not tell me what exactly it was. If I had any concerns to write a letter at the website. Really?? Made me feel very uneasy about my charges.

Nice property, great location.Posted Feb 21, 2014
Pros: lots of pools and on site activities every day
Location: The location is ideal for quick trips to the area parks and attractions.
Rooms were very pleasant, we stayed in a one bedroom suite with a smaller kitchen and a very comfortable bed. There were lots of options for entertainment right on the property. They do an excellent job with activities for owners and guests. There are 3 great pools between Grande Villias and Cypress Point and each has their own charm. This is a time share so no daily housekeeping, however you do receive twice weekly towel exchanges. The sales staff tried to encourage us to attend their presentation, however they did not pressure us. We were often able to park within a few steps of our suite and the pool was just a few steps away. Overall for us it was a very postiive experience and I would return again.

Perfect stay - Business TripPosted Feb 19, 2014
I stayed in a studio king room. Wasn't too sure what I was getting because it's not listed on the Grand Villas website. Room has a full kitchen, small but perfect for 2 persons, queen sofa bed. Available was the basic toaster, kettle, coffee maker, pots and pans, stove with oven, etc...T.V., . The bedroom has a very comfy king bed, T.V., alarm clock,D.V.D. Player, little screened in balcony with 2 chairs and acces to the large bathroom. Bathrom has a large tub, standup shower, double sinks, iron and board, blow dryer. We did have a connecting door, but that wasn't a problem as my neighbors were quiet, but I could hear them speak. There was a safe in the room, but no key. I guess I could have asked the desk for the key, but I didn't need it. They do offer to service the rooms but charge is extra. Wifi is 5$/ day or 20$/ week. Good reception. Welcome kit includes, 2 boxes of kleenex, 3 rolls of toillet paper, hand and body soap, body gel, lotion, dish soap, scott towel, 2 packet for coffee with the sugar and coffee mate, conditioner, shampoo. There is a little super market on site open from 7 am till midnight. There is a Winn Dixxy and a pharmacy near by.We also had pool towels available. Pool is heated. Ice machine on the first floor.Free washer and dryer on the second floor. There are elevators.Lots for restaurants close by. It's a beautiful area. I would come back here, that's for sure. Never bothered for timeshare.

Close to Disney AttractionsPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Plenty of bath linen provided.
Cons: Lighting possibly as rooms were a little dark. Reception check in please do not send your very tired customers to the timeshare desk for 'welcome pk'
Location: Plenty of places to eat and drink - fairly close to main attractions.
Very pleasant stay with many places to eat within walking distance, we also walked to Downtown Disney which took about 30mins. Cypresse Pointe (opposite side of the road) offer the service of an excellent shuttle service to the main attractions at a cost of 12 dollars.
