Elevator downPosted Oct 10, 2013
Cons: do not overbook and make sure your elevators are working
Location: in Orlando
Clerk gave us a room with handicap shower - small room - not what we expected. One of the two elevators was down and had to wait for up to 8-10 minutes to get downstairs - guests jammed into it like a Tokyo subway car...Very poor hotel - could have stayed at Motel 6...

Nice hotel, close to Universal StudiosPosted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: Free breakfast, friendly staff, comfy beds
Cons: maybe invest in a hot tub!
Location: Not even 5 minutes from Universal and Wet and Wild. Several places to eat nearby. Tons of miniature golf courses nearby as well
We stayed here for our honeymoon at the end of September. When we arrived we mentioned that it was our honeymoon and Alvaro (I believe that's his name!) had a bottle of wine sent to our room. He was extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and updated. The bed was extremely comfortable. We didn't ever want to get out of bed because it was so comfy! The one thing that motivated us to get out of bed was the delicious FREE breakfast every morning. They had a waffle maker, eggs every day, cereal, a different meat each day, and pastries and fruit. They also offered a shuttle to Universal with several pick up times but since it was raining off and on each day we decided to drive ourselves so we wouldn't get stuck waiting. The only complaint we had is there isn't a hot tub. There is a small pool with a deceiving kiddie pool next to it. I was so excited when I saw it from our window thinking we could relax in the hot tub after a long drive. Also, while the maids did a great job, we were there for 6 nights and I believe they only changed the sheets once. And the towels smelled a little weird, almost a stale smell. I would definitely stay here again though! We were a little worried since it wasn't a higher end hotel that it wouldn't be very nice but it exceeded our expectations!

Decent, inexpensive, close to Universal StudiosPosted Oct 7, 2013
Stayed 2 nights in a King non-smoking, w sofa covertible. Room was very clean as were the sheets and towels, bath towels a bit small . Bathroom is also a bit small, but clean and well finished. Biggest issue was the fact that 1 of only 2 elevators was down our whole stay, causing considerable wait times at peak hours, ie morning and late afternoon. Wifi and continental Bkfst included which was nice. Good coffee. Oatmeal, and make ur own waffle, only thing not do good we're the eggs, kind of strange tasting. Good value hotel.

Hotel close to Universal StudiosPosted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: Their cookies, their kind service, and their complimentary breakfast.
Cons: Wifi and the shuttles.
Location: Disney World, Universal Studios, and the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum.
Overall I liked the hotel. The only complaints I have are that the wifi connection was terrible, and also sporadic. They should get a new provider. Also the shuttle they have set up to Disney World could have more times and ideally not take so long. But hey, it was free, so I was happy with that! One really good thing is that they have really yummy cookies each night! And their waffles of the complimentary breakfast were great!

Reasonably priced hotel near I-Drive & AttractionsPosted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: Had a nice quiet room that was very attractive. Very nice full breakfast.
Cons: closet door was in the way & closet was small. Either a bi-fold door or no door would be better.
Location: Short drive to Universal, shopping, and I-Drive attractions. Bit longer to Disney. Hotel has shuttle to Universal.
Location was around the corner from I-drive so was quiet & easy to get in & out. Excellent job on refurbishing, quality workmanship thru out. Secure for a woman traveling alone. All the usual ammenities. Definately stay here again.
