Nice Hotel for the money!Posted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: The staff were accommodating and I like that it is a kid friendly hotel. Pool area was quaint and nicely landscaped.
Cons: The room could have been much cleaner...especially the bathroom. Also the cabinetry in kitchen was falling apart. The carpet was in bad shape.
Location: Good location as far as WDW and Sea World!
We stayed at Hawthorn (Buena Vista) for 4 nights. We were pretty much only there to eat breakfast and sleep, otherwise we were doing the parks. Breakfast was fair...pancakes were tough and eggs tasted artificial. There was some fruit, cereal, bread , and bagels to toast..just enough food to hold us over until lunch at the parks. Complimentary coffee all day and night was great! Staff was friendly and helpful. On our last day we hung out by the poolside. Although my son stated that the pool was small..it WAS heated and there was a spa tub too. Quaint spot for a dip ...nicely landscaped. My son enjoyed the single net basketball court and the front desk provided a ball. Shuttles were convenient. I was not thrilled to pay $10 per person for Sea World since it is so close, but that fee for Universal was not bad. For Epcot the shuttle was free...nice! My son had fun in the game room. We would definitely stay here again if in the area! Just hope it would be cleaner in the room next time.

nice hotel. Close to everythingPosted Dec 1, 2013
Cons: Breakfast was free so I hate to complain but it really was not all that great. Could have been better with more choices.
We had a nice stay at this hotel over the Thanksgiving holiday. We did WDW and Sea World and this was a great location for both! There was plenty of room in the suite for the 4 of us and it was clean and comfortable.

Friendly hotel in a quiet road in Lake Buena VistaPosted Nov 29, 2013
Pros: Quiet location close to the action. Good breakfast. Comfy rooms. Plenty of towels
Cons: When booking, the rooms are described as having a kitchen. If the room booked does not have a kitchen, it would be good to be aware before the journey
Location: Loads of Restaurants a short car journey away. Close to I4 and Disney and Universal
We stayed twice during this holiday - 2 nights at the beginning and 2 nights at the end of a 2 week holiday. The first 2 night, we had a room with Kitchen and separate bedroom ( as expected) Excellent facility. The 2nd 2 night stay we we only given a standard bedroom. Strange, we thought, but not a big issue to us at the time. Would have been nice to be prepared though. The complimentary breakfasts were excellent. Hot and cold options in a generous space - no crowding. Beds really comfy, easy temp controls and really quiet. he 24 hour hot coffee in the lobby was a lovely touch. The big stars, however, were the Reception Staff. They were so very friendly and charming - a credit to the Hotel.

One of the best!!Posted Nov 26, 2013
Cons: A notice asking people not to come to breakfast in their nightwear! Disgusting and discourteous to those who do bother to shower and dress first!
Location: Loads to do - its in Orlando!!
Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices - a rarity in an American hotel! Extremely helpful and friendly staff - did lots of faxing and photocopying for me with fuss even late at night. Absolutely clean throughout, great rooms with kitchenettes fully equipped praise this hotel enough and I've stayed in many dozens of hotels all over the USA over 3 decades. This one is way above the rest and wonderful value for money. I'm a very satisfied customer.

Great hotel.... Stayed several times now,Posted Nov 23, 2013
Will stay again, friendly staff, rooms spacious and clean towels everyday... The only minor negative are the very old tv's with poor picture quality.... But that said this is the ideal position for all major attractions in Orlando.the breakfast is typical American, so don't expect a full English, but it's ok and plentiful.maybe a little more variety is required, really enjoyed the holiday. Saving up for the next one

Very clean. Great location.Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: Location was great. All areas were very clean.
Cons: Small refrigerator in room would be huge improvement.
Location: Location was great. Short drive to all attractions. Approximately 2 miles from Downtown Disney. Huge variety of restaurants within one mile.
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was very good. Great variety of foods and plenty of seating. Bed was very comfortable. Room smelled very fresh. Plenty of towels. Centrally located to all major attractions. Cons: There no towels at pool. When they were brought, they were very thin and worn. Ice machines on 2 of 5 floors were not working.
