“Seaworld Hilyon Grand Vacation”

Great location if your destination is any SeaWorld Park. Nice room, good service. Great for kids and a family. I rented a car and good thing, since all the interesting restaurants are 5-10 minutes from the hotel. The hotel restaurant, I thought wasn't so good. There are much better choices outside but you'll have to spend more money on a taxi or car rental.

Area recommendations

Restaurants by the convention center are great including the movie theater. SeaWorld is great during the day, but night should be for venturing out.

“Great Sea World Hotel”

While I don't care for the inability to walk from the front of the hotel to the back without going around the outside of the building everything else is great. I love the heated pools and extra activities. You can walk to Sea World ans save a ton money from the parking fees. You can also eat in your hotel room and save yourself a lot of cash. It is also close to Disney.

Area recommendations

This is a great location because it is close to all of the major theme parks and only 45 minutes from Cocco beach.

“Nice but feels a little dated”

This property has the look and feel of a condo community (with multiple buildings) - which I guess make sense since they pushed attending a vacation club presentation upon checkin. The room was comfortable and clean, but very simply decorated and furnished. The whirpool in the room (king suite) was large and well situated. The staff was friendly. It is directly accross from Sea World. There is a trolley/bus stop in front of the property if needed.

“Good for sea world lover”

If you planning to visit Sea World this is the perfect place to stay. VegetaRians be careful in the hotel there is no food option. Also there is no restaurant near by, so buy your type of food before you check in.

“Great vacation base.”

The staff was excellent. My only complaints were <1> the lack of parking space because visitors took up some good spots <2> early check out time (10 am) <3> one strange episode where acetone-like smell came from the ac/heating unit during the evening. The staff explained that they were treating the roof and the air intake was on the roof. The staff offered to move us to another room. The good was this hotel was within easy access to Disney, Seaworld, outlet malls, and convention center.

“Think tewice before booking this property”

They put us in Building 8 which was recently renovated. There was almost no internet in this building. We complained at least 4 times that too at the highest level but no one bothered to even look at the complaint. This property is basically for time share where the owners have no option. if you are looking at this property for hotel than Orlando has far better options with excellent service.

International drive as it is easily assessable and has wide options for restaurants and shopping.

“Great Place to stay”

This place is family friendly but also caters to the young, pool with a server walking around taking drink orders. Quiet and super clean nice room and if you are going to seaworld they provide transportation that saves on having to pay for parking. Easy access to all attractions with I-4 minutes away.

“HGVS = Big room, nice amenities and good location”

Just spent a week at the HVCS @ Sea World. The rooms here are huge with a good mid-quality level of amenities. You get a very nice fully-equipped kitchen and laundry (!) in the room. The living area has a full-size dining set up and reasonably comfortable seating. This is not a luxury accommodation but certainly nice enough. We were in two rooms due to faulty WiFi (see below) and the second room in the 7000 building was definitely more nicely fitted out w/ flat panel TVs and better furniture compared with the old picture tube motel quality TVs and lower-level furniture in the first 9000 building room. Perhaps they are in process w/ updating? The bath is nice w/ large double vanity and a second vanity in the bedroom area, a motel-quality shower and an enormous jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. The nicest feature is a large screened porch w/ plastic patio table and 4 chairs and we spent a bit of every evening out there. Our main service issue was a faulty WiFi w /no service in the first room. Some at the hotel obviously knew about this and said it was being repaired - but after 3 days/multiple calls to the desk it was obvious that other staff were not aware and referred to a general help desk - and it never got fixed. Eventually we took their offer to simply move to a different building (+ worked fine there). They need to tighten up this kind of basic customer service. The pools and sundry shop are nice and the location is convenient including a shuttle stop on the I-Drive trolley.
